Hot summer seller now available in time for Christmas!

Pinkerton Detective Caleb Lincoln struggles against the worst natural disaster ever to strike the United States - the 1900 Galveston Hurricane - while investigating the murder of Texas philanthropist William Marsh Rice. Chased by a mysterious assassin paid to stop him from finding the truth, Lincoln races across the continent before confronting his nemesis on the famous Spindletop oil fields. An Excellent Tale

This book is a perfect blend of a good story and a great narrator. The description of the ravages of the 1900 Storm on Galveston are incredible. It’ll keep your ear glued to your listening device. I also found the final part of the book of particular interest because it is set at Spindletop near Beaumont. I grew up just down the road in Port Arthur and so I appreciated the local history. From murder most foul to a vengeful Mother Nature, this book has it all!
