I used to love Agatha Christie but it’s very hard to listen to now. The crimes are very arbitrary, unrealistic and sometimes nonsensical. The plots are overwrought. There’s no sense in trying to figure out “who did it.” The all-knowingness of the detectives is also from a time long passed.

I do love re visiting the classics and this did not disappoint! I love the language and extensive vocabulary that isn’t always use today. The performance was on point! Worth the visit!

The story was too complicated and read extremely fast. Two many French accents and hard to folliw.

I normally love Agatha Christie and the Poirot stories, but this is just hard to follow. The story is all over the place and had next to nothing to do with the actual links. If you asked me to recap it for you, I couldn't. Also seemed odd to have Poirot being so blatantly rude to Hastings. Not my favorite book.
