Up and down the only highway into Angel Hill, men are being found with their mouths torn open and their organs shredded inside their bodies.
Chuck Rayburn (Return to Angel Hill) is a cop who knows that, sometimes, the answers lie outside the normal realm.
Out of his depth, Rayburn enlists the help of Stephanie Garcia and William Kirby, one a former cop, one a retired MD. Together the pair now investigate Angel Hill and its peculiarities.
Can the trio solve these crimes and stop the killings before they reach Angel Hill? Or will The Organ Grinder tear a path straight to their door?
The answers lie in this new novella from horror author C. Dennis Moore. The Organ Grinder is the X-Files/Lovecraft mash-up you’ve been waiting for.

I have been reading C Dennis Moore’s stories/books for quite some time now and I can say I haven’t found any of his books or stories to be anything less than enjoyable– The Organ Grinder is no exception. Granted some are more disturbing than others and I have encountered a few that the imagery has been so disturbing I have to read them in small chunks. The Organ Grinder is one of his stories that is disturbing to a level where I couldn’t put it down. It has three very likeable main characters, one from a previous book and two new investigators who I’m hoping will become mainstays in several of his future stories. In fact, I’d love to see a full-length Angel Hill novel with these characters taking the lead. If you enjoy horror with a bit of humor and old-fashioned human nature present, grab a copy and invest an hour of your time, I know you won’t be sorry. Patrick Trahey’s narration of the audiobook version elevated an already excellent story to a new level. Additionally, the audiobook furthered my desire for more Angel Hill paranormal stories.
Horror with a heart? How can that be?
