Excellent Story!!!

“Robin Hood” meets “Man in the Iron Mask” and so many other classics. This was by far one of the best books I have ever read. I will be buying a hard copy for my home library.
The Narrator makes the old English speak, easy to listen to and understand.
Definitely a 5 Star from me.

Just because it's old docent cause it to loose flavor. Very well read with exhalent characterization. A treat to hear!

Great story by one of my favorite authors...

I wish the narrator's talent had been able to keep up. His inflection was all over the place and alas, there were too many characters for him to get voices for.

Reading this story since I was a child

This is one of the best adventure stories ever written, but the narrators always pronounce the names incorrectly. I hate that. I know it's old English, but... And also Norman of Torn's voice should have been deeper for a man of his size and countenance.

an old favorite given new life

A medieval adventure written by Edgar Rice Burroughs. What more need be said? And the performance does it justice. Enjoy!

A great stand-alone novel

This is a great stand aline novel by ETB. It contains his action writing and descriptions of chivalry among his best.

Burroughs at his Best!

a lesser-known work of the master, Edgar Rice Burroughs, but one of my all-time favorites! I highly recommend it to any E. R. B. Fan!

Probably Burroughs' worst work

What disappointed you about The Outlaw of Torn?

I love every Burroughs book I've ever read. But this one is SO BORING. Ninety minutes in, I had to return it.

What three words best describe David Stifel’s voice?

Non-regional
