Never say never!
I used to think people who became victims of scams were either greedy or stupid. Well, no more. The author of this book was a victim and lost her life savings. Here she shares how it happened to her and others. The stories are heartbreaking and could happen to anyone. Read this book to learn how to avoid the traps and what to do if it happens to you. Just couldn’t believe…
It is a very powerful book. Who would think that you would be a victim of an organized international crime like this! Still unsolved, victims are struggling mentally and financially with suicidal thoughts.. crazy..
Great book to read to understand the current cyber crimes targeting innocent hard working people. I’m hoping that US government will find solutions and execute them asap.

A really eye opening book
I learned a lot about things I have never thought about, such as what I should do if I did get scammed, like reporting to the FBI and USSS and that there are people who are being forced to scam against their will. I thought most scammers were greedy and scammed on their own will but did not realize there are people trapped in buildings who are forced to do the horrible acts when they thought they were simply applying for a good paying job. Also, I cannot believe how many people have already gotten victimized by the PBS. This craziness needs to be stopped! We need to make more people aware of these latest scams that are going on so that the scammers will not rob any more people. Thank you to the author for bravely writing this book and sharing her story and other victims' stories.

wow- I learned so much!
I had honestly never heard of the "pig butchering scam" before listening to this book. I learned so much, and can see how easy it would be to fall into the trap of these scammers. Their tactics are so advanced and they have figured out how to get around all of our usual safeguards and "red flag checks." I found the personal testimonies and stories very moving. The amount of money that these people lost was just staggering- and to think that most of them had to borrow money from friends or family in the process is horrifying. I am sure that is damaging to relationships. I am somewhat of an "expert" in the field of human trafficking due to my job, but had absolutely no idea that scammers actually use trafficking victims to perpetrate some of these scams. That they have no choice and are forced to participate due to their entrapment. That takes this to an entirely new level of inhumane. My heart goes out to everyone who has suffered from this scam, and I highly recommend listening to this book. It is both engaging, and informative, and definitely worth the listen!

Enlightening and extremely helpful
I recommend this book to everyone because it is very educational and extremely helpful. It is also recommended for those who, although they have not been in a similar situation themselves, are interested in books in which the author tries to help based on his or her own lived and authentic experiences (these are my favorite genres). For those who have also fallen into the net of a manipulative person, be it fraud, deception or are forced to maintain contact with such a negative person on a daily basis. I think is a must read for them. It's five stars for me. And the only thing I would say to the author is that everything has a reason.
Although it was a great loss for you, but think of it, maybe this bad experience needed to write this book, which will help many other people in the future. Because yes, that's the truth! This book is the help! I wish a lot of strength to those in trouble, believe me, if you stay strong and stick together, in the end you will be the winners!”

A must read book of all times.
Wonderfully written, very informative and must be share to any love ones and friends so they will be cautious in dealing with money and and investment especially on line. Thank you for this book. I salute you (author) for work well done.

Best Book for PBS So Far
The Pig Butchering Scam is an evil scam that uses severe emotional manipulations to trick victims into fake investment schemes. What the victims didn't realize is that any profit they see is fake. When they try to withdraw their "profit", scammers come up with various excuses to deny the requests, and coerce victims to pay more and more fees. Many victims not only lost their entire life savings, but also got into great debts. Even worse, the emotional shock of feeling betrayed and self blaming after discovering the truth is so intense, which leads many victims to suicidal ideation. This book is one of the very few books that give a comprehensive review of the PBS scams. It is based on experiences from real PBS victims and includes valuable resources for post-scam recovery. I highly recommend this book.

Amazing Book!
I'm a victim of this pig butchering scam. I lost more than one million dollars in late 2022. I wish I had read books like this one and been aware of the patterns and techniques this scam used.
This book not only shows what ways scammers use to lure victims and alerts the readers to red flags, but it also provides many essential links, such as those to the IC3 and USSS websites for readers to contact if they suspect or know that they have been a victim of the PBS.
I need to alert all my relatives and friends about PBS. So that they don't fall victim to PBS.
