The past has changed, and the timeline has been updated.
Dr. Albert Snowden, and his niece, Emily, experience this while traveling on Evaran's temporally shielded space-and-time traveling ship. What they discover is that humanity has taken a different path, one that has made Evaran decide to interfere and change human history.
Discovering what caused the change is one issue. Dealing with the nonhuman factions in Earth's past is another.
To make things worse, Dr. Snowden has to deal with a personal issue. It does not help that Emily is on a prison planet where she must survive, alone. Evaran, along with some new allies, must deal with both of their problems on top of an age old enemy.

Love time travel books!
Such a wonderful time travel sci-fi. A great mix of fantasy and sci-fi actually. I quite enjoyed the story and characters. I need to go back and read the first books now.
He narrator did a good job overall. But he mispronounced some things and put weird emphasis on some words. It's irritating.

Poor Performance
Would you try another book from Adair Hart and/or Michael Pauley?

If you’ve listened to books by Adair Hart before, how does this one compare?

How could the performance have been better?
the voices were pretty good but his narration had me focused on his pitch and flow more than the story. Ended sentences with a hard uptick guttural oomph.
Was The Purification worth the listening time?
Not for me, not my style, gave it a shot. Maybe a better narrator would have made it more enjoyable. Could not get in to it

Don't think its smart to offer books that are part of a series as I received this title for free in exchange for an unbiased review when it is book 3.

I really enjoyed it but I need to listen to the first books to see what led up to now then I can give a better review I received this book from the publisher, author and or narrator for a honest review via audio book boom.

Aliens and Time Traveling Ships..
Any additional comments?
The story continues with the alien, Evaran, Dr Snowden and his niece, Emily.
Emily is captured and put on an alien planet through a rift so there is no telling where she was
sent alone with strange creatures..
There are several different things going on at once including Dr Snowden and his issues while
Evaran is trying to locate Emily.
Overall this was an entertaining read or listen filled with action, suspense, and adventure.
Michael Pauley, as usual, did well with the narration.

Another fantastic adventure. This is just a great series. Extremely fun and entertaining.
This is the 3rd book in the series not counting the prequel.
Each story is always interesting and creative.
Adventure, time-travel, altered timelines, suspense, action, humor, intrigue and more woven into a great story.
The past has been changed. Evaran, Dr. Snowden and Emily face their latest challenge. Purification.
This series would make a great T.V. show
Michael Pauley once again does a fantastic job with the narration. All the different character voices are great. Clearly spoken. Smooth even pace. He narration makes the characters and story come to life. Really enjoyable to listen to.

Great story. Interesting twists.
What made the experience of listening to The Purification the most enjoyable?
The author was able to get me to be invested in the characters and made me concerned about how they were going to accomplish their mission.
Any additional comments?
The narrator has an interesting delivery for all of the narration parts of the book. It's almost as if he was under duress throughout the entire book which in turn made it very distracting. Also, the narrator mispronounced a lot of words like chasm. I can't believe the director didn't catch the blunders. I liked adairs work, but the narrator turns me off. I might just get adairs kindle books and check them out.

Another Good Evaran Book
This was another good book in the Evaran series. It was longer than the others in the series, making it as long as most other similar sci-fi books. I wish that some of the other books in the series could have been as long.
This type of time travel sci-fi is usually not my thing. I tend not to like the plots of similar stories but have for some reason liked this book series. I supposed that is a credit to the author's creativity and unpredictability.
While this book was good and I definitely wasn't disappointed, I must admit that there was something (I really can't put a finger on what) missing from this book. I'm not sure if it was just my expectations or predictions based on the previous books, but whatever it is made this book slightly less enjoyable than the others in the series.
The narration was as good as the other books. No complaints.
