About this listen

Bren's Blessing

I enjoy my job, so when things go sideways and aliens board my lab, I try to stay positive and make sure that I just observe and stay alive. But I'm immediately grabbed an taken to their ship.

It appears that I’m now the property of the alien that grabbed me.

He's big, possessive, and seems to want to get to know me a lot better.

Matthias's Miracle

I wake from my abduction while being separated from my friends. Sore and groggy, I'm tied to a bed before I realize what's going on.

As the circumstances start to sink in, I fight until I hear a roar of rage.

At first, my rescuer scares me as much as my captors, but when I realize he's helping, he becomes my new best friend.

Amari's Adored

Before I even wake up from my abduction, I'm “rescued” from the shuttle that crashed here on their prison planet.

But as I’m coming to terms with everything around me, I become a pawn in a tug-of-war between my new rescuer and a group of unhappy aliens.

They are determined to break away from their prison, taking everything of value with them...and that includes me!

Please note: These sci-fi alien romance books contains adult language and steamy adult bedroom scenes. It is intended for 18+ listeners and adults only. It's part of a science fiction romance series but can be listened to as a stand-alone story with no cliff-hangers!

Great stories

I like that women rule but I hate that they are mean and controlling. They need a balance.

These books were very good

These books were very good. The world building was unique and I would like to continue to explore it. The characters were believable. The narration was done well with multiple voices. I would recommend reading this series.

Wonderfully done.

I don't like spoiler reviews so I try not to ever do that, having said that I will say that each of the three stories in this collection could be read as stand a lones if you choose to get just one. I recommend reading or listening to all of them. They are great stories very well written some explicit moments while still maintaining an actual story line. Now as for the narration I was completely satisfied with the narrators. It was great they used both a male and female narrators for the characters, both narrators did an outstanding job putting life into the stories. I'm definitely interested in checking out the other books in this series and other series from this author. I would also like to say I enjoyed the narrators well enough that I intend to seek out other books they have worked on.

Take off in 3... 2... 1

This was my first ever alien romance. All I can say is, I’m ready to suit up and head out into space. Wow!

What I love about reading fantasy and sci fi is the complete creation of other worlds. The imagination and creative genius needed to construction detail by detail a whole new world is a real talent. And Pearl Tate delivered!!

3 great stories about interplanetary relationships that kept me totally engaged and wanting more. 3 American earthling ladies and the alien men who adored and loved them. Sign me up!

Awesome ♥️

Great romance and adventure! I liked all the individual stories. Some a little more than others but that’s because some were more endearing like Amari and Rachel. I am glad the author has 12 books in this series too bad more aren’t on Audible so I can listen during my commute to and from work.

Misters in misery

At first I didn’t think that I would care for the series. But as I got further into the stories I realized that this was the male version of ‘damsels in distress’. I love the theme of females coming to the rescue. I could feel sympathy for the males knowing they needed some TLC. In general, the narration was pretty good except I didn’t really care for the real gruff growly voices of the aliens.

First 3 books of this romance series

This boxset is the first 3 books of The Quasar's Lineage Series by Pearl Tate. The books included are:

Bren's Blessing
I really liked this story. It was entertaining and enjoyable especially for being the first book in the series. The characters were interesting and likable for the most part. Travek was not nice and I sort of hope that something bad happens to him given what he wanted to do to Hannah and perhaps to other females from Earth. Hannah and Bren have an interesting first meeting given that she is on a Skylab that is orbiting Mars and he is from an alien race doing a routine check of their territory. They meet when he and a few others on his crew board the Skylab and then he takes Hannah. Bren and Hannah are drawn to each other very strongly. Their story takes off like a wildfire once they are on Bren's ship Destiny. Their connection is tested when they get to Quasar with interesting results. I really enjoyed the relationship that Bren and Hannah had and their happy ever after. I look forward to the next book in the series.

Matthias's Miracle
I liked this story a lot. It was nice getting to check in with Bren and Hannah as well as get a new couple in Matthias and Susan. Susan is one of eight young women that are abducted by aliens from college, She starts to wake up as she is separated from her friends. The next thing that Susan realizes is that she is now tied to a bed. She fights and fights and then hears a roar of rage. Her rescuer is Matthias and even though he scares her, she realizes that he is trying to help her. He quickly becomes the one person that she wants to hold onto. Matthias is Bren's brother, so he knows what it means when his mating marks start to show up. He also starts dreaming about his mate and knows that he has to get to her. When he finds her tied to a bed, he wants to hurt those that attacked her, but more importantly, he wants to release her and let her know she doesn't need to be afraid anymore. Matthias is nervous about having a mate because of how he was treated on Quasar. The way Matthias and Susan become a team and work together is wonderful considering what they had been through. Matthias became so protective of Susan and it was super sweet. The narration for this book was pretty awesome in my opinion. I really liked that there was a male and female narrator. I also liked that even if it was the female's point of view if the male had something to say the male narrator said it and vice versa.

Amari's Adored
I liked this story for the most part. There were a few things that I didn't like, but the story was still entertaining and enjoyable. The characters were interesting and relatable (for the most part). Rachel was abducted by aliens right from her college. When the shuttle she was in crashes, she is saved by an alien with two different colored eyes. Rachel and her rescuer don't speak each other's language but manage to make do for the most part. As she and Amari are getting comfortable with each other, Rachel is taken again and hopes that Amari will save her again. Amari was sweet and caring. Rachel annoyed me several times. Amari was all-in from the moment he saw her on the shuttle. It took Rachel longer for her emotions to catch up with her libido. I liked how the story ended. Their happy ever after made me happy.

I recommend reading any or all of these books. Or listening to them as the narrator's do a great job and they are very enjoyable!
