About this listen

The 12 riveting novels of the original Left Behind series and the first two prequels, The Rising and The Regime, have all conquered the New York Times best-seller list. Authors Tim LaHaye and Jerry B. Jenkins are now among the greatest successes in the history of publishing. They continue their captivating story with this third prequel, which leads directly to the events of Left Behind, the novel that started the phenomenon.

In the moments leading up to the Rapture, nobody knows it is coming as the clock silently ticks down. Choices are made. The stage is set as Nicolae Carpathia ruthlessly eliminates any obstacles in his rise to power. In the twinkling of an eye, loved ones disappear without a good-bye. Heaven rejoices as millions are welcomed into the unspeakable presence of God. The darkest days may lie ahead for those who have been left behind.

I cannot say enough about the author’s writings in this entire series. A must read/listen.

Tim Lahaye and Jerry Jenkins did it again. The Rapture is an excellent ending to their Left Behind prequel series.

Richard Ferrone does a great job narrating. He brings the characters to life. His pitch, tone, volume, rhythm, and accents are great.

There is no cursing or sex. There is mild violence, nothing graphic. There are adult concepts, such as bigamy and adultery. I highly recommend this audiobook for older children, teens, and adults. Enjoy!

Didn't disappoint as usual. Great story, great suspense. Read Left Behind series first, then this series and enjoyed learning about the characters before hand!

Love the series

I have read all the series including the prequel. I do suggest you do listen to the prequel first it explains in more detail the background of the main characters. I love them and suggest listen to along with your Bible it helped me understand more clearly some scripture I had a time understanding. I for one definitely understood more easily alot of the scripture. They definitely do a wonderful job of helping you understand them more clearly. nay God bless you and all who read these book. I for one definitely got a closer walk with my Lord and savior Jesus because of them 🙏 🙌 ♥

I'm so sad it's over!!! these 3 prequel books were great. love the back story, loved more time with the characters & insights into their story. can't wait to start all over again in a year or two. thank you guys for the great work & PRAISE GOD THAT HE'S IN CONTROL!

a marvelous addition to the series!

I truly loved the part where it describes Joni Earickson Tada dancing up to receive her reward but was dismayed to hear the reader pronounce her name as "Joanie". She herself mentions most emphatically in her book that she is named for her father and it is pronounced "Johnny". Any small amount of research would have told you the same. While it didn't detract from the power of the image and message, it did make me sad that something so easily researched wasn't. If such care is taken to pronounce places and ethnic names correctly, why couldn't this one be just as important?
Other than that, I really enjoyed his performance of this book.

Research pronunciation please!

gives you a prespective of how the rapture is going to be, makes you more anticipated to that day.

Insightful

Great audiobook! Great to relax and be encouraged in my faith. The only part that I did not like was the many times the book moved from talking about Heaven to talking about Earth 🌍. This has solidified my decision to focus on eternity rather than on Earth 🌍. Thanks for narrating the book 📚!

what a wonderful way to end the prequel to the Left Behind series. These authors have done an amazing job of bringing to life the "what may happen" and I think they are as close to the truth as is possible without being told by God himself.

another captivating novel
