High-powered businessman Cameron Shaw doesn't believe in love - until he falls head over heels for beautiful, passionate, and intensely private Martina. She's perfect in so many ways, immediately bonding with his little girl. Martina could be his future bride and a delightful stepmother...if only Cameron weren't blinded by his belief that Shelly, the gold-digging woman he's promised to marry, is pregnant with his child.
No matter how much his friends protest his upcoming marriage to Shelly, Cameron knows he has a duty to his children, so he's determined to see it through.
Will he find out in time that Shelly's lying and Marti's the one who's actually carrying his child? It'll come down to the day of his wedding. After choosing Shelly over Marti at every turn, will he convince Marti she's his world and the only woman he wants?

I like this story despite the pretty much instant love factor. I really want to like Cameronbut it is hard to when he treats Marty like crap. In her place at, I don't know if I could let it all go so easily. My trust in him and his word is shaky at best. It basically comes down to trusting the character to make the right decision.
As this story is part of the Hunted series, I also know I will see this couple again in the future. FYI: The Right Bride stands on it's own but is enhanced when read in series order.

What would have made The Right Bride better?
By having the lead male not be so moronic that he would believe anything told to him by a gold digger. By having the female not be so idiotic that she would subject herself to this jerk. Just wanted to kick both of them.Would you ever listen to anything by Jennifer Ryan again?
Yes. I liked the first two books in the series and was looking forward to this book. Makes me wish I hadn't started the series in the first place. What does Coleen Marlo bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?
She is a good narrator and I wouldn't mind listening to other work by her. This wasn't her best canvas. What reaction did this book spark in you? Anger, sadness, disappointment?
Disappointment.Any additional comments?
For anyone who listened to first 2 stories, be ready to be annoyed. I felt sorry for Cameron when he was first introduced in the first book and hoped he found someone. Even though he did in this one, I just couldn't care.Terminally Stupid

This book wasn’t for you, but who do you think might enjoy it more?
I enjoyed the first two books in the series. This, the third book was extremely disappointing. I expected the female lead, Marti, to be hunted by someone. Not the story here. It is a romance story, with very little mystery or suspense. What was most disappointing about Jennifer Ryan’s story?
I have very little tolerance for infidelity. The main character Cameron is engaged to Shelly (the gold digger), but continues to have sex with Marti, always telling her he is marrying Shelly. By halfway through the book I disliked Cameron and wasn't sure I liked Marti either. She allowed herself to be used by Cameron. Cameron came across as weak and gullible. He is the President of Merrick International for heaven's sake! His character should have had more backbone.Which character – as performed by Coleen Marlo – was your favorite?
Jack and Sam - loved their parts of this story. My favorite scene was them escorting Cameron out of the hospital. If you could play editor, what scene or scenes would you have cut from The Right Bride?
Not sure what scenes I'd cut, but it definitely needed to be abridged. I felt like I kept reading the same thing over and over.Any additional comments?
Skip book 3 in the series, or buy the book and skim through it in an hour. Spoiler alert -- You all know Cameron and Marti will end up together in end, the story is about how they get there. The ending left me empty. All I felt for the main characters was disappointment. Cameron was weak, and Marti didn't seem to have any self respect. Not up to the Hunted Series standards

I loved the first two books in this series. I was really looking forward to this one. I so want to beat Cameron to death for terminal stupidity. I do not understand how a man is described to be so brilliant and such a good business man and a good judge of character can turn into a blithering idiot in this book. That said, the book does keep your interest as you just an't believe how utterly dumb someone can be. I am disappointed in this book but will still continue as the first two books were so wonderful... One good thing about this book is that Coleen Marlo done another excellent job with narration.... :)Wow - was Cameron so stupid !!!
