One tragic moment changes everything

Received as an audio review copy from Story Origin, this is an honest review. Narrated by Alan R Gron, who delivers the right amount genuine snarky wit that elevates this quirky unique prologue. Once he has it all: a lovely wife and daughter and a good job but then it all ruthlessly shattered when he lost his family... and maybe even his own identify. Then a very unique job falls into his lap, an undercover job that will provide the birth of Steve Reagan and give him a future he desperately needs. His first job was keeping a secret from destroying Britain's national obsessive love of sports.

Highly recommended.

A tragic beginning to an impressive career.

So this is how Stephen got into undercover police work. His first gig. Was there sports corruption? A well written, well told prequel.
I received a review audio copy of this book through Story Origin. I have listened to a few of Stephen Bentley stories and Alan R. Gron IS the voice of Steve Regan. It is very distinct with the right accents and some tongue in cheek humor. Very enjoyable. 5 stars for him as well.

Good Prequel

Good short prequel to the Steve Regan Undercover Cop Thrillers Series. This is a good introduction to the series. Alan R. Gron did a good job bringing this story to life. #StoryOrigin
