The ideas, concepts and belief system of the author are DYNAMIC and life-changing. If I'd known about the treasure 10-years ago, my life would've been very different. But, I'm grateful to have discovered it when I did. If you like THE SECRET....this is for you. I consider Robert Collier one of the Founding Fathers of THE GREAT SECRET!

THE BOMB!!! A must for every library!

This book is so amazing. It explains how your mind works and how everything is connected. I have read many books on the subconscious mind and the universe, but none of them come close to the knowledge that this book shares. This book will change your life! It is an intelligently written book on how to navigate life and how the universe works.

This book changed my thinking!

Would you listen to The Secret of the Ages again? Why?

I have listened to it twice and I'm on my third run right now...

What about Jason McCoy’s performance did you like?

Hey read it like he wrote it; great job Jason

What did you learn from The Secret of the Ages that you would use in your daily life?

The main thing I picked up was that we control our own destinies by the things we think about on a daily basis...

Great read

Would you listen to The Secret of the Ages again? Why?

Yes - great material.

What other book might you compare The Secret of the Ages to and why?

Your Invisible Power - Genevieve Behrend - both books from the 'New Thought' movement.

What didn’t you like about Jason McCoy’s performance?

Too fast - too intense - too 'full on' - I prefer to 'bask' in the material rather than have it flung at me!!!

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

No

Never mind the voice - just listen to the material

Collier's book is a classic of self-help/improvement literature. Unfortunately, it doesn't get the quality reading it deserves. Mr. McCoy butchers names, particularly non-English ones. His reading style is quick and even sloppy. One example is an instance where he substitutes "road" for "round." I tried to put up with this reading for as long as I could but ultimately had to abandon it. It's a pity. This text deserves better.

Great book, less than satisfying performance

Would you recommend this book to a friend? Why or why not?

The book I strongly recommend. Actually after enjoying the abridged version so much I was looking for the unabridged one, but Jason McCoy's performance makes it look like a completely different material: not a good one. This reading of the book I DO NOT recommend.

How could the performance have been better?

It needs to be read a lot slower. You are not even able to recognize when he is reading a title or starting a new chapter.

Any additional comments?

Don't waste your money on this version. It really doesn't honor the contents of the book, which are truly amazing.

Performance Ruins Content

If you have watched "The Secret" and weren't that impressed with the Hollywood style interpretation of the principles of life, you will enjoy this no-nonsense explanation of all aspects of life. Excellent!

Fantastic ... it all made perfect sense

Go beyond your mental and physical ability. There is a power in the universe that is working through you and in you.

Love it!!
