This is another good book in this series. I enjoy books of this genre with Indians. There was a good storyline and the story kept me interested from start to finish. Sheriff Lansing tries to do a good job but he tries too hard. I think the next book will answer some questions. I will listen to all of the books in this series. I would recommend to start with book one but you wouldn't have to. I think the first books sets everything in motion. You get to learn everyone and the way things work. Hackler must have spent months & months researching the Background and Lore for this story... Eric Dove does A Masterful Job of Bringing Realism to the Audible format!
Recommend you Start this Series, my wife & I spend enjoyable time discussing Indian-lore and Legends Hackler uses to weave the Storyline!

While I enjoyed this fascinating story, when it ended, it left me with several questions about unresolved minor plot lines. I'm hoping they'll be addressed in the next book of this series.
