This is an awesome short story, I really like Alexander Kuprin stories. He keeps you interested in the story from page one and on. Fred Wolinsky is a perfect fit as narrator for this story. I received the audiobook code for free from FABC, and I am voluntarily providing my review.

This whole Series of short stories or bites is wonderful. I’d love to see them as a collected
Works. The narrator has a voice that just fits. It’s like Something out Of an old Alfred Hitchcock or Vincent Price movie. It just fits with the whole Theme. This one tells
The tale of a young Russian who went to war and the price that he paid. Well worth the listen and check Out the rest of the series as well. I was voluntarily provided this free review copy audiobook by the author, narrator or publisher
