Overall good book but the male narrator was creepy!

Jeremy York almost ruined this book for me with his creepy, slow, drawn out southern cadence. I like the idea of the one night stand couple meeting again in the worst scenario and trying to see where things go though so have the book an overall 4. I liked Ava Erickson’s narrations too.

Male narrator was a bit off.

Can't remember that I have had such issues with this male narrator being off, with a corny way of putting the characters feelings out there. Just got stuck on it many times. Like what could have been hot was corny.

Cute, heart wrenching, and a sizzler!

4 Crazy Ass Stars!!!

I love this series and really enjoyed reading it on the dreary Monday. It was cute, heart wrenching, and sizzling!
I loved the gyno office scene! I was mortified but had a good laugh. There were a ton more scenes that had me giggling and my heart melting.
Both Bren and Mason's stories tugged at my heart strings and in their own way wrenched my heart as well.
The chemistry between the two was a scorcher. There were a few times that I was fanning myself.
I loved Ava's narration of Bren's part. I wasn't too thrilled with Jeremy's though. He just didn't fit the part of Mason.
Kendall Ryan is a fave and I will no doubt be on the lookout for more from her.

Heartwarming

The storyline was good, surprises throughout and read it through in one day. The female narrator was excellent but the male didn't fit the character speaking too slowly and lacking a sensual tone. That was the only frustrating part of listening to this novel read.

It just didn’t live up to expectations

The male narrators’ voice just didn’t fit the character and made it kind of hard to get into the story. And all in all I was just a bit disappointed with the book as a whole.

Good story

Good story. Predictable. Female performance, really good! Male voice sounded too old for the age of the character and too passive.

sweet story

FYI to the author, the opening(deleted scene shared at the end) should never have been deleted. Hot!

Good story

Good story.I love Kendall Ryan books. So much passion with her words in the story. Narration was also done well and in sync.

Romantic, sexy doctor men are always a good thing!

I loved how Kendall did this story. The guy is the one that is a romantic at heart while the girl is the one that doesn't really believe in love. I've read some books that have taken this angle but it is always nice to see this side of things for a change. Men can be romantic too. I love how hung up on the girl the hero is; how he is depressed over her unannounced departure after their night together and his inability to find her again, and how he just can't seem to let the thought of her go. He is a firm believer in soul mates and believes their spark was real. I love that the heroine has abandonment issues but not because of a boyfriend that wronged her in the past, which is the usual way this concept goes, so it was nice to see hers to be more deeply rooted. I loved the hero's patience with her and persistence, and I hated the heroine's frequent freak-outs and running away although they made sense. I had already figured the story would go the way it did, and I am happy that it went that way instead of being so blindingly obvious. Their time together was also another whirlwind as this series seems to deal a lot with, but at least he was pining for her for longer than their actual time together, which made it slightly more "realistic" which was nice. I still loved this story though, and hot doctors always get me. I also found his "re-discovery" of her to be awkward but funny, and I still loved the way Kendall went about that moment. This is only the second book I have listened to that Jeremy York has narrated, so he is definitely growing on me! He does a fantastic job at what he does, I just always need some time to get used to narrators since I am still fairly new to audiobooks. Ava Erickson was as always amazing at what she did too! I have heard several books done by her and have enjoyed everything she has done so far!

What happened to the Cheetah??

This man moves extremely quick!! To me this seemed like a soap opera plot...definitely could have been better. I would also like to know if the cheetah was okay
