There are three little words most guys don't want to hear on the first date. Not those... I mean these: "knock me up."
This single gal has had enough of the games, the BS, and the endless chase. I know what I want most, and it's not true love. It's a bun in the oven, and I'm not afraid to hit up my sex-on-a-stick coworker to do the job. Ryder is gorgeous, witty, and wild - and he's also a notorious commitmentphobe. That makes him the perfect candidate to make a deposit in the bank of me. I won't fall for him, he won't fall for me, and there's no way baby will make three. Right?
There are four words every guy wants to hear on the first date: "your place or mine?"
When my hot-as-sin coworker makes me a no-strings-attached offer that involves her place, my place, any place - as well as any position - I can't refuse. Besides, I've got my reasons to take her up on her deal even with her one big condition.
There's no way I'll want more from one woman than any position, anywhere, any night. Except...what if I do?

Two radio gurus who dole out relationship words of wisdom daily but take many months to see what's been right under their noses the whole time.. love. Everything was well balanced, well paced and well written so I got to drool, got to grin, got to swoon, got to cheer them on and got to sigh happy sighs after a very touching Epilogue that finished a very sweet, very entertaining and very enjoyable story.
Added to that is the awesome narration by Andi and Sebastian who skilfully brought this dual POV story to life and gave it wings.. wings that took this book to the very top of my ever growing pile of books by Ms. Blakely - but then again I say that after each one.
Worth a credit? No doubts, no hesitation and no maybes here.. it wasn't dark, it wasn't emotionally draining, it wasn't deep and it wasn't full of suspense either.. but what it was was chick lit/rom com at its absolute finest - and YES very creditworthy.
AHHH... BLISS AFTER A SOLID GOLD LISTEN

Both Ms. Arndt and Mr. York are on my fave list and I could listen to them for hours, they really hold my attention and I can feel, not just hear the emotions when they tell the story. I wish I could give more than 5 stars.

Andi Arnt and Sebastian York are my favorite narrators and they make one hell of a narrating duo.
I was bummed when signups for this went out and I was one of the unlucky ones not to receive and ARC. I was bummed but not for too long though because I knew I had the audiobook preordered and soon I'd have Andi and Sebastian reading to me.
I really enjoyed this book. I'm not big into the whole "baby" trope. This book was surprising though. It wasn't at all what I thought but then again that probably would have changed had I read the blurb. There are few authors out there that are automatic one-clicks for me and Lauren Blakely is on that list. I often don't even read the blurbs (blind reads). I just see the author's name and I jump on it. That's basically what I did with this book. Oh, and when I saw that Sebastian and Andi were narrating, there was no stopping my finger from clicking "preorder".
Ok back to the "baby" trope thing...I was surprised by how the story played out. It's all due to my preconceived notions about similar storylines. But as always, Lauren Blakely smashed through those notions and gave me a story that was hard to put down ,or in my case, stop listening to.
I loved Nicole. She was so funny. The whole "Rosemary's baby" thing had me laughing out loud. Ryder was insta-love for me. I loved his character. He totally had me swooning and fanning myself right alongside of Nicole. The two of them together were combustible.
I can't wait to read the next Lauren Blakely release. I, especially, can't wait until Flynn and Dylan's stories hit the virtual shelves!
Not what I thought it was going to be.
