If you didn't like this book your dead to me.

If you could sum up The Spirit Clearing in three words, what would they be?

can't get enough

What was one of the most memorable moments of The Spirit Clearing?

if I had to pick one moment it would be when Michael finds out that he wasn't married to Jhendelyn (sorry if i spelt that wrong) and he watches her walk away.

What about Sean Runnette’s performance did you like?

All of it. He IS Michael Talbot.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

yes when jhendelyn and the baby died I was on the edge of tears and I don't even get the urge to cry when I cut onions.

Any additional comments?

This book is amazing. it's a completely separate book from anything mark tufo has written at the same time is an integral part of the Talbot universe. it is another step on the ladder of Mark Tufo's imagination. when you reach the top your mind will cease to exist as it is swept away by the wonder and brilliance that is Mark Tufo.

Dark, but captivating and hard to put down.

I started my love of Mark Tofu's books when I heard the sample of Zombie Fallout book 1 on Audible. Sean Runnette gave Mike Talbot life in the best of ways. The Spirit Clearing tells an alternate life of Michael Talbot from the car crash mentioned in both the Indian Hills stories and the Zombie Fallout series. This is a dark story, but I still couldn't put it down. The way I enjoy these books is I read the Kindle book while I listen to Sean Runnette bring Mike Talbot and friends to life. Just a note about his narration, he sometimes changes words in a sentence that is different than what is actually written down. Maybe he gets a version that hasn't been put to the press yet, or he thinks it would sound better. Either way, it does happen from time to time, but it's not annoying enough to make me stop listening he's that good at his job. Now about this book... I will give away NO Spoilers, because I don't like that and it's not right to run the story for those that don't want to know ahead of time. This review is only how I feel about this book. As written in the description of the book by the press release. Different end to the car crash, different girlfriend and a completely different life. With that said I was drawn into this world of Mike Talbot, though it is quite different than anything else. It is a dark, but at a few times a humorous story, as most Mark Tofu books are. Though not nearly enough, but that's what this book is about. The darker life of the main character. It works well and draws you in and doesn't let go. I finished it in less that 30 hours after purchasing the Audible version and Kindle unlimited book. It would have taken less, but I had to sleep at some point, but it was so difficult to find a good place to stop for the night. To be honest, after reading the reviews I didn't purchase the book for a long time, but after reading the complete description of the book, I finally gave in. I'm so glad I did and really wish I had sooner. It was great, creepy, nerve rattling and wonderful touch of love. Mark Tofu created a great character in the form of Mike Talbot and all the alternate lives he lives in the different series he's put in. I think you will get a deeper understanding of Mike in this story. I know I most certainly did. Otherwise, everything you want to know about this book is, as I have already stated, is in the description. If you are ready for a different and a much darker story of Michael Talbot, this is the book for you. If you have never read any of the Michael Talbot adventure books don't start with this one. I recommend the Zombie Fallout series to start with. Read that series first all the way through. You'll get a much happier, action adventure, wise cracking, authority hating, best buddy, loving husband, character, story line, that shows living through a Zombie apocalypse isn't all it's cracked up to being. After reading that series, come back to this book. You'll understand the character of Mike Talbot in this alternate universe better and you may like it. I know I did. Happy reading.

Another Awesome Tufo/Talbot Adventure

If you like supernatural/paranormal stories I highly recommend this one. If you're familiar with Tufo's work this book won't surprise you with how good it is. If not get ready. This one grips you by the heart and throat.

Mind Explosion!

Would you consider the audio edition of The Spirit Clearing to be better than the print version?

I have yet to read the paper back but the Audio was incredible.!!!

What was one of the most memorable moments of The Spirit Clearing?

The last 10 Min... Mind Exploded!!!

What does Sean Runnette bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

Depth, with out a doubt.. just reading it your left to mearly hear yourself with no differentiation of character... Sean gives the character such depth it allows for then to stick and you grow more attached that watching a show

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

Literally madame laugh outloud a few times and honestly gave me goose bumps on 2 occAsions

Any additional comments?

Mark Turk is incredible and I recommend him to just about everyone I know.... And with Sean reading ... Perfection........ This book was a torrent of emotions and if you were as vested into the Mike Talbot character is such depths as I was after listening to all the ZF and IH series up to date then going back and heralding this.... I borderline cried at one point... Best way to describe is MIND EXPLOSION

One of his best!

I have read or listened to over 20 of Mark Tufo’s books and this one has struck me probably more than any of the others. It is completely different from the others, save for the characters of Mike, Dennis, and Paul. I won’t go into too much detail because I hate spoilers, but suffice it to say The Spirit Clearing is a combination of Tufo, Koontz, and King.

Talk about plot twists

All I can say is, "wow". Great book. The ending is a little confusing, but it does make sense. Great book. Great story.

wonderful! scary! heartbreaking!

I have read most all on the Mike Talbot Stories. If you haven't read this one, you must, as it adds so much to the Mike universe.
It is a completely stand alone book. You could read it and never read another word about Mike. But I bet you will!
Shaun Runette as always brings the story to life. Just snuggle in and listen children while he weaves a magic with his voice.

This is a seriously great book.

I’d recommend this book to pretty much anyone. Whether you enjoy supernatural thrillers, or stories about love, or are a Mark Tufo fan. This is one of his best works, if you are on the edge of decided to buy this or not. Just do it. You won’t regret it.
