Any additional comments?
There are 3 basic themes in The Storm Subsides. Most of the poems are about mourning and lamentation. Fewer are about a long life of struggle. Then a tiny number near the end are about finding peace and resolution. The narrator's presence fits the poetry's tone. Both his voice and the poetry are grim and threatening, intense and baritone. This book was given to me for free at my request and I provided this voluntary review.
