About this listen

Before she was two years old, a serious illness destroyed Helen Keller's sight and hearing. At seven, alone and withdrawn, she was rescued by Ann Sullivan, her teacher and friend. By the time she was 16, Helen could speak well enough to attend preparatory school. Later she went to Radcliffe, from which she graduated with honors in 1904.

Enthusiastic and untiring, Helen Keller's life is deservedly inspirational and stands before all of us as an example of what we can accomplish, given fortitude and purpose.

No one in all of my life has helped me to see more of life than the blind Helen Keller I'm in deepest gratitude.

Amazing in visual and heart

It started off interesting with small stories of her life, but it just didn't keep me interesting. The second half of the book seems like a laundry list of people Helen Keller met and books she read. I was disappointed.

Good at the start....
