Publisher's summary

Olivia Cameron always knew she was adopted. What she didn’t know is that her birth family would come back into her life 47 years later…

Just days after her husband’s death, Olivia gets a call that she might have inherited a beach cottage in Cape May. Except she’s never been to Cape May, and the lawyer explains it has nothing to do with her husband’s recent passing.

Nestled in front of an old vineyard, the cottage is exactly the fresh start she needs. Although she’ll need to provide proof of her identity within 30 days before it goes to the person next in line.

When she arrives in the sandy beach town, strange things start happening, and every clue she follows leads to more unknowns. Thankfully, there’s one man who can help, the handsome owner of the vineyard next door.

As time is running out, only two questions remain: Who is Olivia's real family? And why do they have so many secrets?

Dive into the heartwarming journey of friendship, family, and love in The Summer in Cape May. This delightfully written women's fiction series intertwines suspense, wholesome romance, and captivating mysteries.

I hated the narration.

The story was very good. the narration was horrible. I prefer an actual narrator instead of AI

Good story line, virtual voice terrible

The storyline was good but the virtual voice is terrible. You have to be determined to listen to the story with no emotions. Good thing it's a free book.

AI

The story might have been better without virtual voice narration. Yes, it knows the words, but doesn't know the right emotions. It was rather annoying.

Awkward reading and writing

Feels elementary. Character connections were too unrealistic and underdeveloped. The “twist” at the end felt forced and unnatural. Not relatable or believable.
