About this listen

Shifters are off limits. But for this hot single daddy, I’ll break all the rules....

Inside the classroom, I have plenty of rules. Outside the classroom, I only have one—don’t date shifters.

That includes the single father of my new kindergarten student. But limiting myself to sideways glances at Cole’s powerful muscles is proving impossible to do.

I, of all people, should know better. Until recently, humans and shifters weren’t even allowed to be together. Not to mention I could lose my job for dating a student’s parent.

And if anyone found out that I’ve already been bitten once and how badly that ended, I could be run out of town all over again.

My heart is telling me that Cole’s different. But if I give in to temptation, there are those who want to keep us apart. By any means necessary....

Great book!!!!

It was a great story, the plot and flow of the book was amazing. The characters seemed realistic, the negative topic was covered with grace.

Unnecessarily Long

I have to be honest, Marley is an extremely frustrating fmc. While it's true that she went through some horrible abuse at the hands of her ex, I still found her to be a frustrating coward. Also, the amount of times that something happened that she should have told Cole about, but didn't, was astounding. I honestly don't think I could stand to have someone like Marley in my real life.

Lastly, the author added in so much background information, that it made me roll my eyes every time. Do you really need to add in how Marley munched on her food happily that often?

I was starting to love it but…

Marleigh is one of the most annoying characters. I understand her trauma but the constant winning and crying and negative thinking I just couldn’t take it. We dive into books to get away from things like this. I wanted to see her build her strength sooner than later but Geesh the entire book ugh!!! I had to forward most of it. It’s the constant negativity that I couldn’t take anymore. It could’ve been a great book but damn!
