About this listen

He can resurrect the dead, but can he get the girl?

The fae Tris can't seem to find his place in the world—either world, mortal or elemental. All his friends are married, but he can't get a date, much less get laid. When he bumps into a hot girl, she's not interested in sex or dating. Riley Jordan calls herself a cryptozoologist and only wants to follow Tris around to study him in his "natural habitat"—whether he likes it or not.

Maybe he wouldn't mind if she'd let him kiss her. But after one hot lip-lock, she puts her foot down.

Now a series of bizarre disasters has led Tris to suspect he's been cursed. After all, he is the 13th child in his family, born on the 13th day of the 13th month in the fae calendar. He might also have accidentally ticked off a few too many elementals. Add in his job as the guardian of a coveted healing vortex, and yeah, he's screwed.

The Thirteenth Fae is the sixth book in the Undercover Elementals series of steamy paranormal romances.

Love this lucky story!

There are not many authors that can pull me into a paranormal romance, but Anna Durand has me captivated as I am transported in to unseen! This book is fun as well as exciting, like a movie in my mind! Riley, a cryptozoologist has wanted to meet the unseen. Finally, stumbling into Tris, she convinces him to let her following him around. A leprechaun, this man is anything but lucky. It seems he is cursed and the loss of his powers is detrimental to his world. With a cast of characters, some amusing, some scary, we are pulled into the elementals on a fast paced adventure! Will Tris and Riley give into their attraction? Will Tris get the curse removed? Come enjoy this fantastic journey with every paranormal you can imagine! You will love it!

Riley is portrayed by Vanessa Edwin and she is fabulous. Curious, lusty and full of life, Riley has an array of emotions that all come through Edwin's performance. She plays off of Aaron Shedlock, who is Tris! His voice is full of humor, fear, and love, each pouring out into the scenes. I loved this team and hope to hear more from them.

Another great story in this world!

The Thirteenth Fae (Undercover Elementals Book 6) by Anna Durand is another great edition to this world. It can be read on it’s own but I recommend the series so you know who all of the players are. So happy to be back in the Unseen Realm for Tris’ story! His character has really evolved into more than I ever expected, and the unintended side effects of his transcendence are quite comical. Riley is a cryptozoologist who brings all of the best out in him and she has her own innate strengths. I enjoyed how they learn to work together and bring their different world experience into play to solve a mystery I was not expecting. This steamy paranormal romance series keeps pulling me back in for more with great characters, great love stories, and a new world I love to explore! Anna also works with excellent narrators! Performances by Vanessa Edwin and Aaron Shedlock were excellent! They are both favorite performers who brought out the different aspects of these complex main and supporting characters. Another great story and I’m excited for more in this world. #HumanVoice

Tris & Riley ❤

I really enjoyed Tris and Riley's story. She's so curious and willing to do what she must to learn everything. Tris tries feels stuck where he is and not much worth to anyone but Riley shows him he's so much more. Brilliant story! Fun, sometimes scary and lots of steamy goodness!
Vanessa Edwin and Aaron Shedlock were perfectly cast as Riley and Tris. They both got the playfulness of their characters spot on, while also being sweet, romantic and hot!

Love Riley and Tris’ story!

What a wonderfully creative story! I loved it! It is fun and heartwarming. Riley is a dream character (I mean she could be me)! She wants to learn more about the paranormal and prove they are real. Luckily she runs across Tris who decides to help her on her quest. That’s where the fun starts. I laughed at everyones view of them and how they Interact with each other. They get into more than one scuffle and hot spot.

I listened to this on audio. Vanessa Edwin and Aaron Shedlock are the narrators. They do a wonderful job creating all the different voices this story requires. I enjoy how creative this author is with her world creations. My favorite thing in here is the names/nicknames of Tris and his 14 brothers and sisters. The author did an excellent job naming them and I have not seen it done before.

This is a highly enjoyable story with some steam. While I think a lot of steam isn’t necessary because the story holds it own, it does show a nice connection being built between Riley and Tris.
