Publisher's summary

Her destiny could transform two worlds—or destroy everything. Well, nobody's perfect.

Dive into the first three steamy books in the Undercover Elementals series! Cross the veil into the Unseen realm and meet sylph warriors, a sex-starved incubus, an angry sorcerer, a vengeful harpy, a grumpy god, and a host of other unearthly characters.

Lindsey Porter never believed in the supernatural—until she bumped into a hot guy in a loincloth who could vanish at will. No, that's not weird at all. The sylph Nevan tempts her like no one else ever has, drawing out desires she'd kept buried deep inside herself. But Nevan is hiding a dark secret.

As Lindsey is drawn deeper into a parallel world where magic reigns and bargains have deadly consequences, she realizes she might be the key to saving two worlds. But Lindsey must rely on Nevan and his elemental powers to stay alive. Or does she? A ragtag band of elementals might become her strongest allies.

Because yeah, the apocalypse is coming.

The Janusite Trilogy includes three full-length novels from the Undercover Elementals series of steamy paranormal romances, plus bonus chapters found only in this collection.

Love

These were fun books, I couldn't even stop listening to them. Some of it was a bit hard to get through. Thank you and hope to hear more from this author and narrator.

Fresh take on magic & adventure

If you love to get lost in a magical adventure with a snarky heroine this book is for you. Lindsey is forced to evolve from someone who lives a nice, boring life and does not believe in the paranormal to not only realizing that she is, herself, powerful. In order to survive she must embrace her powers. Her inner strength shines through from beginning to end. She forms bonds with people who help her, but nobody swoops in to save Lindsey. She kicks ass on her own! I found this story to be exciting and fun with twists and turns I was not expecting. The thread of Lindsey’s connection to Nevine manifests in delicious and intriguing ways. Nevine is an excellent hero who lifts Lindsey up and encourages her to find her full potential. They belong together and he never doubts her power. This story was a fresh take on magic and I enjoyed it very much!

Mary Ann Weathers is a new narrator to me. This story is in Lindsey’s point of view and Mary Ann does a great job with this snarky heroine forced to deal with insurmountable odds! I will listen to more books narrated by her.

I received a code for this book in exchange for my honest review.

Very Entertaining

What a trio of stories!
This set includes:
Mortal Falls
Mortal Fire
Mortal Tempest

I loved them all! I am a lover of paranormal/fantasy stories and this one is exceptional! The story line(s) really is an amazing adventure but its all the crazy, fun and sarcastic characters I met that are the big winners. I enjoyed seeing them over and over in each book.

Do I have a favorite book? The first one (Mortal Falls) is my favorite because we meet and get to know some of the story/characters. Book 2 (Mortal Fire)is shocking and the story is different but we meet new characters thats brought joy to my heart. Book 3 (Mortal Tempest) is the wild and crazy finale. While it isnt a fav it is important as I got to see things that I only heard about in book 1

Do I have a fav characters? There are so many great ones to pick from. Nevin or Tris rank high…even Max..or Travis..maybe Lindsey? Argh ! See too many to pick. Then Bob or Bremis (sp) were both welcome surprises.

Overall this is a highly recommended series! Definitely worth the credit if you enjoy action packed books with wild and sometimes sarcastic paranormals.

I did listen to this on audio which was a delight to my ears! Mary Ann Weathers is the narrator and she is amaze-balls! There is a plethora of different voices for the characters and she nailed them each time!

Nope, can’t do it.

I am 25 minutes into this book and I’m not sure which I’d worse, the narration or the writing. So, back it goes.
