One of the Best Narrations In the Series

Where does The Thirty-Fathom Grave rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

In terms of the Twilight Zone Radio Dramas, this is definitely in the top five. Great story, great atmosphere, and great performances all around.

Which character – as performed by Stacy Keach and Blair Underwood – was your favorite?

This is the first time I heard Blair Underwood's narration and he manages to portray an imposing character in Captain Beecham, but also have a calming voice as well. If I were serving in the military on a submarine, I would certainly hope he was my commanding officer.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

[[Spoiler Alert]]
The fate of Chief Bell was genuinely sad, especially how it was foreshadowed as he agonizing over his past while in the sick bay.

Generic T Z episode. Very average.

Begins as a creepy "what's down there" story. Fizzles out into a not very exciting episode. Not bad, just very very average. Even the usually excellent sound effects fail to impress.
