Hilarious, fascinating, and a roller coaster of dizzying, historical what-ifs, Napoleon's Hemorrhoids is a potpourri for serious historians and casual history buffs. In one of Phil Mason's many revelations, you'll learn that Communist jets were two minutes away from opening fire on American planes during the Cuban missile crisis, when they had to turn back as they were running out of fuel. Hiking is fun and healthy
I am not an experienced hiker, and I can certainly use some advice on some adventures. One of the things that concerns me is what happens when you get stuck, with no food or directions, if you hike on a cold, snowy mountain. I agree with the author that hiking offers numerous opportunities to heal, exercise, and enjoy the adventures of a world filled with fun and discovery. I learned that we must plan our adventures and create a checklist of necessary items, and hiking can be just as relaxing as yoga. Hiking reduces stress and renews minds.

Hiking Guide
This books addresses the topic in a manner different to how I would, it states that when hiking you need to focus on the experience along; I would only focus in the reaching my goal. When my kids were very young I did I few hikes with them but they did not enjoy them; after reading this book I now see why. I know understand the basic fundamentals that need to happen before focusing in these type of excursions. The book makes it a point that when hiking you should consider terrain, layers of clothing, specific sneakers, and season an I never new to do that.
After reading this book I now understand how to read map in order to understand elevation and the impact it has on our body, I also see the need to research the location I am planing to hike on and the importance on a first aid kit. and plenty of water. With the information gained in this book, I feel excited to attempt to enjoy nature the right way this time. The PDF information in the audio offer a quick glance of the concepts that this books offers. I am making this book my resource guide for hiking. I recommend it to anyone that is new to hiking.
