The Power to Break: I had a plan. I landed the opening gig for a huge rock band with the sole purpose of getting the drummer to fall in love with me.
I wanted to break his heart the way he once broke mine. The one thing I didn't account for? Feelings getting in the way. If I choose my heart, I won't reach my goals. And if I carry out the plan, I'll walk away with a broken heart.
Life has a funny way of making our decisions, and now I have the power. I just have to decide whether I'm still going to use it to break him.
The Invisible Thread: All it took was one glance from Maci Dane to turn my life completely upside down.
I can't seem to do or say the right thing, and I think it might be because of love. The word feels so heavy when I've never experienced it myself, but I don't know if I can live without her.
No matter how heavy the word is, love might not be enough to overcome the web of deceit she has weaved.
Contains mature themes.

the narrators have done an excellent job in getting the feeling of the words on the page out there for us to listen to.
I will be looking for more from this author

I found both the male lead,Ethan, and the female lead, Macie, so immature in the way they dealt with each other. How can someone have a grudge at 15 to carry on until you are 34? (Especially about a comment made from a 17 year old boy)? That’s just crazy.
I really like the author and the narrators were great! I started liking Macie and Ethan more and more as the book looked into their past and that the way they were handed terrible life situations that messed with their minds.
I can only say Macie used the comment Ethan made about her to jump start her career, but I was still troubled about how she hung onto something so obviously said by an immature kid.
All in all I was glad to see these young people grow into wonderful adults with values and a love for each other that time only made better and everlasting.
