A solid listen for me. A great range of characters with some strange unknown disasters and you have a winner. Narrator has a great voice too!

I was hooked.

I thought the characters were believable and well rounded.
Good story to boot. Looking forward to the others in the series

Well done

Fast paced and exciting with realistic characters in extraordinary circumstances, I will be getting the next book. The narrator does a great job & I loved his deep voice especially how he voiced the male characters. Though only complaint is he made Al & Carl sound a bit too much alike.

Great apocalypse thriller

It is very good. This book in this series begins with what’s going on and develops the characters. Read a lot of SHTF books, and this one is rated at the top. Will be purchasing the next. And the narrator is actually good. Again, I don’t understand the bad ratings.

Don’t understand the bad ratings for this book

I made it through the book and it wasn’t bad. The part that made it almost unbearable was the narrator’s voice. Way too deep and then trying to do a Mass accent on top of that. I almost turned it off in the first 5 min.

Need a different narrator

The story is slow and it doesn’t get anywhere by the end. I downloaded it as part of the free stories and wish the fact it was part of a series I would have liked to know that first. The story is not going anywhere after nine hours and I doubt it will in six hundred.

Just a tease for free

I absolutely loved the book and definitely getting the next book. The only thing I wasn’t a fan of was the constant saying of “ He/She couldn’t shake the feeling of.....” I just felt that it was overused. But overall and amazing read!

Amazing read

I like this book even though it is incredibly sad and at times hard to listen to now maybe it's The Times right now with cover 19 that's making it more real even though it's not the same type of disaster

very sad and depressing well written
