Should have been made into a movie, as a collection, the Josey Wales series is the best on Audible. Story, performance, none better.

The writing and narration are both top notch in this very exciting western tale. Any fan of the genre will definitely enjoy this one.

This book was great, I’ve seen movies of Josey Wales, But to listen to a book about him how he was feared by the Bandidos that he lived with a loving family after a tragic loss. Excellent writing excellent narration and I do recommend this book.

This is an excellent part two to Josey Wales. There is everything you want in a western in this book. Josey is a tough and respected man. He goes into dangerous territory to get a friend back. There is a good story line and good characters. This is a five star western. Chet Williamson is an excellent narrator. If my review is any help will you please click on the helpful link below. I read this book many moons ago, but listening to it put it on another level. Mr. Chet Williamson has such a great voice when it comes to audiobooks...and he's a pretty dang good author his own self!

I can’t tell you how many times I have watched the movie Josey Wales. I listened to the first book Gone to Texas which I enjoyed. Having a new adventure just added to the pleasure. I wish there were more.
