David R. Hawkins, M.D., Ph.D., is an internationally known author and speaker on the subject of spiritually advanced states of consciousness and the realization of the presence of God as Self. His published works, as well as recorded lectures, have been widely recognized as unique. They describe a very advanced state of spiritual awareness which occurred in this individual, with a scientific and clinical background, who is able to verbalize and explain the unusual phenomena in a manner that is clear and comprehensible.

Dr. Hawkins is a nationally renowned psychiatrist, physician, researcher, and lecturer, as his listings in Who's Who in America and Who's Who in the World amply attest. He has been a guest of The MacNeil/Lehrer NewsHour, Barbara Walters, and the Today show. His book Orthomolecular Psychiatry (prior to his best selling trilogy Power vs Force, The Eye of the I, and I: Reality and Subjectivity) was co-authored with Nobelist Linus Pauling. His most recent book is Healing and Recovery. He signifies his dedication to our innate Divinity with the statement "Gloria in Excelsis Deo!", with which his published works begin and end.

spiritual knowledge for the dauntless seeker

there are some pretty wild concepts that are casually spoken of. the audience for this lecture are clearly adepts in the topics they speak of. I found a decent amount of useful lessons, but about 15 percent of it involved things I would have enjoyed clarification on.

The main message being that the universe is vast in scale in depth to such a degree that it is better to work with where you're at in your journey. don't get ahead of yourself with this road. there's much to learn. infinity is the road. enjoy the present and learn with love and patience.

Hawkins is a boss. A true spiritual giant.

He's in the big leagues. If you give a crap about what he's saying you're probably destined for freedom from the bondage of the material world of form. happy listening

I just finished a book on Advita by Wayne Liquorman which was excellent and I was very excited to begin this one.

Not good

I was expecting a serious interview about God, similar to eckhartolle discussions, but instead found myself listening to a poor quality audio of what seemed to be a standup comedy show
