About this listen

The moment I found her, my fated mate—the only good and right thing in my dark, hollow life—she was taken from me by my enemies. She was gone, ripped from my arms, a feeling more painful than if my heart had been torn from my chest.

I changed that day. I didn’t see myself as Odhran, loyal soldier to the king of the Scottish Lycans, any longer. I became scarred, emotionless, and soulless. And over the decades, I became stronger, more deadly. I turned into a killing machine, a warlord who took lives because mine had no meaning any longer.

I realized I became this male for a reason. To take down the organization that stole and enslaved what was mine by right and fate. And I knew that because I found her, I found them. They thought they could take her, keep my mate from me. They didn’t know I’d destroy them because of it.

This was an ok story, I’m glad they got their happily ever after, finally! But you do know a decade is 10 years, so she was only gone for 20-30 years, electricity would have definitely been around, etc... Hate it poor Orion couldn’t help her once again, damn they couldn’t catch a break. What a huge punch to his gut and manhood. Would he had really let the humans in the alley get so close to her? Humm.
It had several sweet parts that I liked, I wish Orion’s were real! Narrators were good!

Absolutely fell in love with both characters, I’ve read most of the series and Odhran is by far my favorite of them all. The way he speaks to Larkin and the way he talks about her makes my heart clench each time with how poetic his words are. He’s masculine and intimidating yet so gentle and patient with her, definitely will visit again just for the heart pounding words.

My favorite of the series

This wasn't my favorite in the series but it was definitely worth reading. Odhran went through so much to get his mate back! They had such a heartbreaking story and I was happy to see how they got through it!

definitely pulls at the heartstrings!

Everything is good except this story isn’t my favorite, it is different from the previous ones. This one is much softer and trauma heavy vs the whole stalker, enemies to lovers, heavy tension concept of the previous ones.

Not my favorite but it was good

I’m loving this series. Mentioned many times throughout these books, Odhran was the Scottish Lucan whose mate was kidnapped decades ago. Not giving up on finding her, he turned into a killing machine. Larkin, being held hostage by a group determined to enslave otherworld beings, never lost hope her mate would find her.

This was a beautiful love story of fated mates torn from each other for decades before they finally get their HEA. Aaron Shedlock and Stella Hunter beautifully narrate this story.

Odhran finally finds his Larkin. Swoon!

I fell in love with Odhran! He is so sweet, loving, oh Lord! The best of all of the Lycan series! On the other hand, I dislike Larkin, his mate. She's so weak... I know she went through trauma, but omg... too weak.

I love ❤️ Odhran!
