Every Christian must pass through the desert on the way to their Promised Land. Wilderness experiences are often times of great uncertainty and change. Our time in the desert seasons of our lives is lengthened or shortened depending on our response to each circumstance. Our faith in Christ is refined in the intense heat of the desert experience as our intimacy with Him increases. Find out how to go from surviving to thriving by partnering with God as He leads you in the path that will strengthen your faith and prepare you to step into your destiny.

What could have made this a 4 or 5-star listening experience for you?
The narrator's voice becomes tedious as well as the story as early as 1/3 of the book. You begin to wonder if anything good ever happens to this woman and then find out by the end of the book - well, not really. I'm not into prosperity theology but barely getting by doesn't draw me either. I am impressed with the author's constant devotion to the Lord though. What do you think your next listen will be?
Strange Fire: The Danger of Offending the Holy Spirit with Counterfeit Worship by John MacArthurHow did the narrator detract from the book?
An English accent for someone who is from Texas? You didn’t love this book... but did it have any redeeming qualities?
The last Chapter (12) "The Seven Temptations of the Wilderness" is very helpful and would have been better if it had been incorporated more throughout the book.Tedious
