Critic reviews

"What a refreshing book! If you're tired of religious prayer games and rote prayers that stop at the ceiling or if you have suspected that God was on vacation somewhere, this book will change your life. And if you're thinking about giving up on prayer, don't! At least not until you've read this book. When you have, you'll thank me for recommending it to you." (Steve Brown, Professor, Reformed Theological Seminary; teacher on the syndicated radio program Key Life)

Very Moving

You really get an understanding of the importance of prayer. Getting to know the author's family and the difficulties that they were faced with and are faced with. Every prayer matters, God answers prayer! God is truly good!

Miller makes good points

I don't know if there's anything out there better than this. It is a pretty practical book about prayer. Miller does not simply say that we should pray more, stating the obvious. He advises the reader to have a designated time and place to pray, he gives a practical method for beating your child like in our prayer, he explains how to react when prayers aren't answered, and he has a few tricks (praying out loud, journaling, using prayer cards) that can help rejuvenate your prayer life.

I have definitely had longer, deeper, and more frequent prayers as a result of reading this book.

life changing truth in this book!

I am so glad I stuck with this book... it has made a huge impact on how I view prayer and my practice of it. I had a difficult time with the narrator. I felt his performance was robotic and choppy. it didn't feel like natural speaking and that hampered my enjoyment of the material at times. however, it was worth it to endure the narrator because the contents of this book have the potential to change your life!
