Publisher's summary

The BRAND NEW psychological thriller from O.J. MullenEveryone has secrets. Are yours worth dying for?

Julia Sutherland isn’t too sure about her new colleague. Ellis Kirkbride is friendly, charismatic and handsome, but there’s just something about him – a bit too slick, a bit too confident, and he stands a bit too close. Normally she'd share her concerns with her husband Rob, but he’s been distant lately and Julia has a secret he mustn’t find out.

Ellis Kirkbride thought he had found the right woman. She was everything he could want but she didn't want him. And that was unacceptable...

In a tale of twisted love and chilling revenge, bestseller O.J. Mullen will keep you on the edge of your seat until the very last page. Perfect for fans of K. L Slater, Claire Douglas and Sue Watson.

'A superb rollercoaster of a read. Gripping to the very last page!' J.A. Baker

‘A gripping story with a totally unexpected ending. Loved it.’ Valerie Keogh

The Ending is Satisfying!!

I started out thinking this book was the same old story of cheating spouses but it got better as it went along. I enjoyed the twists of plot but edpecially the ending!

Kept my interest

The story was well written, and well narrated. But for me personally, the ending was disappointing in some ways. First of all, did it really take the bad guy, a truly evil character, to enlighten the MC as to her husband's infidelity? And why would she continue to consider him the love of her life? Come on! I can see her mourning the relationship but women are smarter than that. And she certainly proved repeatedly that she was very smart. This all seemed a bit backwards and not modern at all. The author did her MC a disservice, and made it seem like, oh well, the husband couldn't help himself and it was just too bad.

The listen did keep my interest but that and a few other things I thought had more potential that could have contributed to a much more satisfying ending to the story. It was also longer than necessary and didn't move at as good a pace as it should have.
