Welcome to Holiday Hills, where Christmas is magical—and deadly. I’m Abby Odell, cozy mystery writer and newly minted witch, navigating my first Christmas without my mother while discovering my magical talents. Between decking the halls and dodging a murderer, I'm in for a wild holiday.
With quirky magical neighbors, a suspicious double murder in my own family, and a sexy but distracted police chief, it’s up to me—and my sassy, Santa hat-wearing talking cat, Cooper—to keep the plot beside my mother’s empty. In a town where magic and mayhem mix, I might just find my own Christmas miracle and catch a killer, or at least survive to write about it.

Story
Jazz Bashara is a criminal. Well, sort of. Life on Artemis, the first and only city on the moon, is tough if you're not a rich tourist or an eccentric billionaire. So smuggling in the occasional harmless bit of contraband barely counts, right? Not when you've got debts to pay and your job as a porter barely covers the rent. Everything changes when Jazz sees the chance to commit the perfect crime, with a reward too lucrative to turn down.

I spend my days ghostwriting a cozy mystery series for a well-known author, and maybe just a minute or two crushing on the town’s police chief. But of course, I’d never let that cat out of the bag.
