A very interesting look into what brought three of the hero's of the Alamo together. A thoughtful and unabridged trip through Texas history.

The story is good but this narrator is Dr. Death. Imagine Christmas morning with Granpa in the corner spooning applesauce all over himself while mumbling an old story you have heard a million times. Meanwhile, take this same content and add George Guidall or Johnathan Davis and you have interest. Oh and a fun game to play is to say "That's right Grandpa" after every 30 seconds or so. Try it. It is a blast. Colacci is that boring.

3 books 8 hours long in one. Also bounces from character to character. Others might enjoy it, just not for me.
