About this listen

When Alice steps through the looking-glass, she enters a very strange world of chess pieces and nursery rhyme characters such as Humpty Dumpty, Tweedledee and Tweedledum and the angry Red Queen. Nothing is what it seems and, in fact, through the looking-glass, everything is distorted.

I thoroughly enjoyed this audiobook. The narrator. Miriam Margolyes, is truly excellent. I read along while listening. Miss Margolyes' narration added vastly to this reading and listening experience. As for the story itself, it is very clever and witty. I think that portions of this story would make an excellent bedtime story for a child. As the story centers around a child "Alice" and kittens, it might prove somewhat interesting to a little girl. As for myself, as an older person, I enjoyed slowly working my way through the story and found it quite enjoyable. I hope to read it to grandchildren and grand nieces and nephews. Thank You...

An Excellent Narration of A Really Fun Children's Story
