About this listen

Two broken souls find a love worth fighting for in this captivating GhostWalker novel from #1 New York Times bestselling author Christine Feehan.

Diego Campos has come home to die. The GhostWalker is tired of walking a dark path shaped by countless losses. There has never been a moment of good in his life that wasn’t followed by something bad. But as he makes his way to his family’s homestead in the Appalachian Mountains, his plans are interrupted by a violent ambush that sets his life on a new course.

In between fighting off a small army of assailants, Diego is struck by a beautiful, brutal warrior woman unlike anyone he’s encountered before. Compelled to rescue her, Diego uses his psychic gifts to make Leila’s broken body whole again and save her from certain death. With each new breath she regains her strength, showcasing her humor, intelligence and courage as she reveals the truths of her past and inspires feelings Diego never thought his heart could experience.

After a lifetime alone, in the middle of firefight, Diego has finally found a light to guide him through the darkness—and one brief touch is enough to set them both aflame.

I’m so happy tortures, sweet Diego gets his happy ever after. He really and truly was a wounded warrior. I admire how his character was displayed and treated. Art imitates life and there are truly some lessons to learn here from his early childhood treatment. Bravo to Christine Feehan, this may be one of my ultimate favorites. Great narration and well worth the wait

Amazing

This was an good 'Part 2' for the Campo Brothers. Enjoyed having so many of the previous Ghost Walkers joining in the story and seeing the progression of Wyatt's girls. What I missed, though, was a narrator that could handle the variety of accents of the bayou and Appalachia that was such a part of the story. When you can't be sure if it's Nonny or Rubin talking, that really takes a lot out of the enjoyment. The narrator has a clear, strong, voice but not with the range of voices that Tom Stechschulte or Jim Frangione provided. Their voices made it easy to keep track of who was talking. This narrator did not. Too much of the same.

Sorry to have such a change in narrators.

The narrator did okay, but miss Jim doing this series, he's such a great listen every time.

Narrator changed :(

This plot mimics slightly towards Rubens story at the beginning ,but it was good all the same. Revisiting the whole family Nonny included with the viper triplets is most enjoyable. Being so used to more action with the other books , had me feeling a bit lonely for more. The storyline was mild, but still nice, not to much naughty bits to show. Loved that all the brass were in one place and getting whipped, 😃. Cannot wait to hear Brigitte and Ian’s story .🥰

Intéressant 😊

Laila, Grace (toddler), and Diego as well as Bridget find a new home🏡. General P stole the women from their Great Uncle after their parents died. The Ghost Walker stole them because they were psychic like their father. They went through the same genetic manipulation as the early GW’s done by General Chariot and overseen by General Pillar. General Pillar forced General Chariot into experimenting on Laila and Bridget when they were less than 10 years old and on thru their adult years.

Awesome book and series ‼️

Ghost walkers are always exciting reads! I love this series. This one was fun and kept me on the edge of my seat.

Great story

The story is classic Feehan/Ghostwalker. Diego’s story. Important to note that even though the narrator has changed, the new narrator does an excellent job and is even better at Dustin

Great addition to the series!
