Strange

75% of this is a book on if “Law School is Right for you?” I’m already in law school, that’s why I paid for a Tort outline, they artificially made this longer so they charge more. The first 25% is fine as an out though.

Okay

Useful but more examples would be helpful. Different narrator would be appreciated. Several chapters are totally irrelevant as they are about choosing law schools, is law school right for you, what practicing law is like, etc. this seemed like useless filler. There are lots of books about those subjects and I was hoping this would be mostly about torts

Only 4 hours is Torts

The other 7 hours are another book they tacked into the end to make you think you were buying a longer lecture series. The Torts part is fine, good narration of a short rules outline. The latter 2/3 seems useless if you're already in law school.

Should have more

6 chapters on Tort and 34 on experiences for law school. Not what I expected. They could have seriously expanded this to more Tort.

Pronunciation

The narrator pronounces his “G’s” incorrectly, which becomes an issue when we get to the huge Tort topic of “Negligence.” He pronounces it with a “zh” sound, as in “négligée.” The repetition is not good for incoming law students who are getting key concepts in their head for the first time.

Fine but needs a printed version to go with it.

This book wasn’t for you, but who do you think might enjoy it more?

I think the information here is good and thorough, but I'm giving it a low rating because it would be more helpful to come with a PDF or some kind of print version to study along with it. For those of us who need to learn through reading, listening and writing notes in the book, this is missing a huge portion of what is needed to study.

Would you be willing to try another book from AudioLearn Content Team? Why or why not?

Yes, if a print version was available to go along with it.

Waste of money

Incredibly abbreviated and half the course is an intro to law school. Really? I don’t pay for you to tell me what to expect from law school. I expect content relating to the course I have invested in. In other words….this series of which I unfortunately have four….is nothing but a scam. Stay away!!

Exceptional. Great for law students.

This is a great gift for a law student. Excellent.
I bought this to listen in my extra time--on the bus, doing chores, etc.
Washington, California, Wyoming, New York, Virginia, Maine, and Vermont are states where you do not have to go to law school to pass the bar exam. This is one way to study for the bar exam.

Do Not Buy!

Worst book of all time. This can be considered self plagiarism since they literally copied approximately 75% of another of their audiobook to construct this one. That is cheating and unfair to prospective buyers. This is the second audiobook from them I purchased and now I am not interested is having such experience again so I will not be buying anymore of their books. If I could, they would be given zero stars.
