Publisher's summary

Traces of the Sapphire is book two of The Sapphire Series. It continues the stories from the original book The Journey of the Sapphire and follows the people whose lives were impacted one way or the other from the sapphire of Elenora.

The book focuses on five significant characters from book one:

The first is Romel, as he pursues his dream of finding another priceless gemstone, only to find a more valuable treasure in both his soul mate and on the tropical islands.

Next is the suspenseful story of Peter di'Barichi of the Royal Court of Italy and how he delivers the Sapphire of Elenora to safety to his brother in France.

The third section is of the new captain of the Rainbow's End, now called the Sapphire, with the Arab navigator becoming the captain. He delivers the Sapphire in a blue jar under the Tree of Life and marries Ragad bin Samer who also becomes the new navigator of the Sapphire.

The final part is of bint Eid, the Saudi Special Security Force soldier, who is also the Guardian of the bin Samer Tribe and the Tree of Life. When the aggressors from the north once again surge to gain the Tree of Life, bint Eid calls on her teacher Coletta, the war maker.

It is an enjoyable listen and answers numerous questions from The Journey of the Sapphire.

Very nice continuation of the first book.

i enjoyed the first book a lot, the second book adds to the primary characters ventures and lives.

I liked the Two Captains, The Lie and Dust Devil chapters the most.

The narration was very fitting and the Narrator was very excellent in her telling.

It is a nice historical fiction and reminds me of Arabian Nights although geographically diversified.
