I'll start this by saying that I somehow missed that this was "Christian Fiction," which is on me because if you look at the little tags that is the second one listed, and I prefer no to read books with a heavy dose of religion. Putting that aside, I really tried to give the book a chance, but I just couldn't connect to either of the characters, and I did not see the chemistry or pull between the characters that lead to their HEA. I've read/listened to quite a few "clean romances" that were very successful in showing the development of the relationship between the main characters, so I don't think keeping a story "clean" means the main characters can't have chemistry that pulls a reader in and makes them feel invested in their relationship. I found the narrator to be quite annoying, which did not help with my enjoyment of the book.
