About this listen

A number-one New York Times best-selling author and superstar radio personality, Michael Savage is admired by millions for his tough talk and no-punches-pulled common sense about the state of our union and its leaders. In Train Tracks, a more personal side of Savage shines through in this marvelous collection of "American Stories for the Holidays". Like Glen Beck’s blockbuster, The Christmas Sweater, Michael Savage’s poignant, personal stories of home, family, and the holidays will resonate with listeners everywhere.

I am a long time fan of Michael Savage. This book is an excellent collection of stores from his life, where he came from and where he has gone and they are told with the wisdom and thoughts and ideas of his years life experience. There is only one thing I wish for this and other Michael Savage books and that is that Savage, himself, would himself be the narrator of his own books. The stories move quickly, many nostalgic, and I don't understand why the word Holidays is included in the book title. For Michael Savage fans like myself, it was a pleasure and great listen to know more about the man, Savage, and kept my attention throughout.

Stories as only Savage can tell

Some amazing stories. Just 2 strange hours about an unlucky speculator in the middle that I don't think belongs there. I listen to Savage most days and I heard most of the stories before but still I listened to a large portion of this audio twice. Does anyone else find the unlucky speculator saga out of place and boring?

Great book but I think the recoding is flawed`

I love to listen to Savage on the Radio. Train Tracks offered a great look at the man behind the radio microphone. Pete Larkin did an excellent job of channeling Savage's personality which made this book a joy to listen to.

Savage is a genius, though a man plagued with guilt - I assume related to his brother - yet was prescient and a WONDERFUL story teller!
