Publisher's summary

I'm nobody. I'm an orphan. A janitor. A college student. A virgin.

And him? He's a god. One of the hottest action stars to ever grace the silver screen, huge and muscular and gorgeous and famous. He could have anyone in the world.

Yet, despite the chasm separating my world from his, I find myself in his hotel room, and he's acting like I'm the most beautiful girl in the world. I'm not. He's everything every woman could ever want, and I'm just...me.

She doesn't know how sexy she is, and that's its own kind of beauty. But for real, she's gorgeous. I've met some of the hottest women in Hollywood, and none of them can hold a candle to this girl. I want her. And the fact that she's closed off and impossible to figure out only makes the pursuit that much more intriguing.

The last thing I expect is for one night of pleasure to turn into something I'm unable to forget, even after she's gone her way and I've gone mine. I can't forget her, no matter how I try. And the next time we run into each other, I know there's no way I can let her go again. No matter what it takes.

This is a full length, stand-alone contemporary romance, set in the world of Stripped.

Horrible male impersonation of female voice

Having the male narrator read some of the female's parts was terrible. There was a female narrator. Why didn't she read all of the female parts???

Not too bad

It was an okay story. As expected, events unfolded according to the popular format. My only complaint was about male narrator trying to speak in a female voice. That was rather annoying and at times I had to turn volume down as I felt uncomfortable listening to his voice during those episodes. Wish he had continued in his normal voice instead. That would have been much better.

Great Story! Captivating!

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

Yes I would. This book keeps you engaged.

Which scene was your favorite?

My favorite scene was when they finally gave into their feelings. She stopped doubting herself for her body structure and realized that he loved her just the way he was.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

Yes, there are not that many books that show the female as something other than a thin, contoured and "conventionally" beautiful woman. So much emphasis is put on being skinny. This book is the loves story that gives curvy women the ability to dream.

Great read

I enjoyed this book very much. I like how the chapters alternated character points of view.

Good story but a bit much for me

ooooooook before I start let me just say I'm not a small girl by any means 6'1 and curvy so when I say this I'm speaking from experience I know it know always easy to find love but through this hole book the amount of reassuring she need from him drive me up a wall every two damn seconds she's second guessing her self and body when it's clearly unnecessary but besides that it's a good story lots of sex a bit of an over kills but not bad I love that the girl in the story is real but I don't like the way it makes her all weird about her body not every big girl is that way

Riveting Romantica!!

Humbling, torrid, delicious lust affair that only a few people get to experience. Hits home or hits a fantastical nerve, either way a titillating and captivating lust to love story. You've done it again, Jasinda!!

Adam & Des

*****Spoiler Alert*****

Audible review. Dual POV.  Stripped (Wilder) duet book 2 but can be read as a standalone. No cliffhanger. I listened at speed 1.75, both narrators read well with average American accents. The author forgot she gave Adam brothers, he only had younger twin sisters when Des meets his family. Like the first book of the duet their were time jumps that left large portions of the story blank. But this book was much better than the first ('Stripped'), both the story and the narration. The cover does not fit the story. Trigger warnings: foster care child abuse; death caused by a drug overdose; sexual assault by a photographer.

Torrence Adam Trenton (aka Adam/Tory) is a 6'3", green eyed, biracial dark skin actor (think Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson) with short dark hair. He was cheated on by his former girlfriend, he was former pro-football player, and has a degree in psychology. His mom is from Fiji, she moved to California when she was 11 to be raised by her aunt, and she is now a surgeon. His father is American entrepreneur who owns real estate and a medical supply business. Destiny Lynn Ross (22, 23; aka Des) is a tall tan woman with long black hair, brown eyes, and tattoos covering deep scars. Her crack addict mom overdosed when she was 3, she was then raised in foster care, is currently working on her master's in social work, and is working on an island collecting trash. Adam is instantly attracted to Des, invites her to dinner then back to his room, she had a panic attack, he invites her to be his date to a dinner, they go back to his room again and she gives him her virginity. He goes back to filming his movie and she returns to school. He tries to find her but she's moved and is working as a model until a photographer comes on too strong and she gets fired. She returns to school to complete her master's. Adam can't get her out of his mind and sees her a few months later on the college campus. Their love story resumes, they run into his cheating ex at a red carpet event, he buys an island with Dawson, proposes to Des and then marries her a year later. JP
