We love audiobooks, but this one was a disappointment. I had to turn it off within the first 30 minutes because the recording sounded so inferior from what we are accustomed to.

Sound quality needs improvement

I never write bad reviews but boy oh boy, this one tops them all. For starters, the narrator sounds like he’s inside a tin can with no editing of mouth noises or page turning . I hope he’s a better stage actor than a narrator. Everything about his reading was wrong - sense of timing, character distinction, volume, pacing, you name it. He seemed to stumble over the text as if reading for the first time and I’d go as far as to say he just didn’t care. Really a shame. I think he had too many bottles of rum.

Worst narration ever.
