About this listen

From the frigid lakes of Siberia to the hot wastes of the Gobi desert, Dirk Pitt is on the trail of fabled treasure . . .

Rescuing an oil survey team from a freak wave on Russia's Lake Baikal is all in a day's work for adventurers Dirk Pitt and partner Al Giordino. Yet when their ship is sabotaged and the survey team vanishes, Pitt is forced to get to the bottom of a mystery with far-reaching consequences.

Soon he's on his way to Mongolia. There, a powerful and ruthless business tycoon holding an astonishing secret about Genghis Khan is hoping to emulate the legend's greatest conquests—but on a global scale!

With the legacy of Khan and the lost treasures of Xanadu as the prize and the future security of the world at stake, Dirk Pitt for one isn't going to stand idly by . . .

Treasure of Khan is the nineteenth of Clive Cussler's bestselling Dirk Pitt novels and is co-authored with his son Dirk Cussler.

Good story with plenty of action. Historical and many plot twists. Fun read, thanks to both of the Cusslers.

As always the treasure is found, I always enjoy it when a story comes together. We love the narrator. Thank you.

I always enjoy a good Pitt Adventure and I was not disappointed with this one.
My only complaint is with Audible. The least they could do before offering a Title, is listen to the entire book. When you just copy the CD's to a single downloadable format, EDIT OUT THE "END OF DISK XX." This was a 14 CD set and each time I needed to swap out an imaginary disk it creates a gap in the story where one should not be. End of Rant 1.

I enjoyed this Pitt novel but it needs Editing

The story and weaving of history into the narrative is a Clive Cussler trait, and when it is narrated by Scott brick it’s always excellent!

Another home run!

This is one of my favorites so far. I got worried with the previous book and the story being more about Dirk’s kids. It was a little too “Hardy Boys Adventure”. But this is old school Dirk and Al!

Yay! More Al!

Sadly, Cussler books have become so predictable and stale. While the 50s misogyny has softened the book is so bloated to provide background. I guess they get paid by pages.

Forgot this was even a Dirk Pitt book
