About this listen

A Paris gallery owner finds herself in danger when a mysterious man begins leaving her messages, in #1 New York Times bestselling author Danielle Steel’s thrilling new novel.

As she approaches the milestone birthday of forty, delicate blond beauty Amanda Delanoe finds joy in running a chic contemporary art gallery in the City of Light. The only child of a French businessman and an American model, both now deceased, Amanda lives well and adores her dog, Lulu, but so far the love of her life has eluded her.

Then she meets Olivier Saint Albin, a dashing publisher. At the same time, she reconnects with Tom Quinlan, an old boyfriend from her days at NYU twenty years ago, now a lawyer on sabbatical who has come to Paris to devote himself to writing a thriller.

Charming Olivier is a master at the art of flirtation, but as Amanda feels herself falling for him, she learns he is married. Providing counsel and support is her friend and co-owner of the gallery, fun-loving bachelor Pascal Leblanc. When Amanda begins to receive threatening phone calls late at night, it is Pascal she turns to. Then someone breaks into her apartment on the Left Bank, and it’s all too clear she is in real danger.

But from whom? An old love, a new love, or a stranger? As love enters her life, so does terror....

Triangle is at once the story of a woman dedicated to staying true to her principles and a breathtaking tale of suspense from the one and only Danielle Steel.

I found myself trying to project who was going to be the intruder then during STEPHANIE’s recovery I suspected her partner to be Lizzie. Many things We’re adding up to their devotion for each other.

I figured out the ending pretty early but still a pretty good story. Not her best though.

Pretty good

Enjoyed the book. The truth always leads to happiness. Past relationships that end poorly should never be rekindled.

Triangles never work in relationships

Another fantastic read by Danielle Steele. The mystery and thrilling twists kept me hooked. I always look forward to the happy endings in her books and often wish some of her novels had sequels.

It took a hot minute to figure out who the triangle actually involved. The characters were strong especially Amanda and how even though she was involved with a married man she tried her best to do the right thing. The French obviously have different standards when it comes to marriage. His wife was involved as well as a super crazy like a fox ex-boyfriend from college. Amanda was the bigger woman and let's leave it at that without spoiling this for others. I could have done without the lesbian content and I think it took away from the book.

Performance was good.

Really enjoyed this one

the French and the divorce concept really does not work but it sure creates many story lines

the storyline

I had a feeling about his wife when the two women were talking also I had a feeling about Tom that he wasn’t what he said he was it just didn’t click right with me and also I knew that the man that Amanda was in love with that he was Married all along. I knew it from the beginning I could just tell.

The bags comes back sometime, not in a good way
