Publisher's summary

Troy left his den in Alaska when his Alpha wouldn’t accept same-sex matings, even if they were fated. Tired of being alone, and knowing his mate wasn’t going to be a woman, he set out in search of not only his fated mate but also a den and Alpha that were accepting of not only him and his bear but also male-paired fated mates.

Elliot grew up in the coven his Papa was master of. Two of his brothers have found their One, and one a mate the fates destined for them. After a year of being drawn to Alaska, hoping to find his One, he’s called back to Amherst and then Honey Creek where his youngest brother has mated with the Den’s Alpha.

The last thing Troy ever expects is to scent his mate at a den celebration. When he realizes it’s the Alpha Mate’s older brother, will his Alpha accept him as a member of the family? Will the young warlock’s centuries-old terrifying parents be welcoming? Even polar bears know not to piss them off.

Witch problems are escalating; old hook-ups are showing up; babies are starting to crawl; more babies are on the way; mates are cranky; and warlocks are still “poofing” in and out at odd times. Will Troy and Elliot ever sleep again?

Troy’s Warlock is book two in the Honey Creek Den Series. Each book contains a fated mate pair, Mpreg, lots and lots of knotting during growly sexy times, and babies, lots of babies. These bears will do anything their mates ask, just listen and see. The Honey Creek Den Series is a continuing series and is meant to be listened to in order even though each book focuses on a different couple.

This book is intended for adults only as these shifters tend to get growly and don’t watch their language.

A good continuation of world introduction

Love all the different types of characters and their voicing. Unfortunately the story moved a little slowly at the beginning while we learned how warlocks work - a little heavy handed with the world building. And then (spoiler alert!) the bad guy from book 1 was taken care of almost as an afterthought here. Although this story seemed a bit disjointed, I'm really enjoying this world and looking forward to the next book.

Great series

I feel I should start off by saying that I’m generally not a fan of mpreg. That being said, yes, I believe this series deserves five stars. The story is really good and the characters are lovable. To be honest, I think the audio really does it for this series. Just reading the books I struggled to bring the characters to life in my head, but hearing the audio really made all the difference. Listening to it I was able to really get my head into it and enjoy it for the good series that it is. I can’t wait for the rest of the series to come out on audio!

Excellent. Give Me More Please!🙆‍♀️

I am so glad I chose to listen to this series. The storylines, characters, the family unit is outstanding. TR is doing a fantastic job with her storylines, and definitely has a talent for her writing. KO also, is doing a awesome job with his narration, bringing these characters to life. I'm also happy to see other characters are being introduce, hoping it means we can look forward to having each character, and the complete series, continuation. I truly hope so. I am totally invested in this series and can't wait for all books to become available to adubile. If your looking to start a wonderful and gratifying series, I highly recommend you start with this one!👍

Love every moment.

Troy realizes that Elliot is his mate and his polar bear wants him now. Elliot has been searching for his One for a year but comes when his dad asks him to (yeah and with his dads, I would definitely do what they ask). As they mate and bond together, life goes just a little crazy around them but they stand by each other and work towards their HEA.

as good as the ebook

The story is always full stars, because if I wouldn't like the story as ebook, I wouldn't listen to the audiobook.

The performance from the narrator is also very important for me. I can't listen to a lot, because my English as a non-native-speaker isn't so perfect to follow a whole story over hours, when the narrator speaks too fast or too sloppy. Normally I have to SEE the person, who is talking to me in English. Kenneth Obi is one of the 2 narrators (so far), I can listen without break and have no problems to follow.

PLEASE READ MY RATING SYSTEM!!!

To my ratings:

5* - very very good
it's like an A+

4* - very good and will be often re-listening
it's like an A

3* - it's more then a one-time-listening, but not more then twice a year.
it's like a B

Enjoyed it

🎧 Kenneth Obi (r.i.p.) was a great narrator and is terribly missed. He suits these types of characters, having clear distinctions between alpha and omega voices so it’s easy to tell everyone apart. He has good timing and all the emotions come through in the performance.

📖 Enjoyed the story enough that I’ll move onto the next one, although it was too short to really provide any other storyline than “Insta mates / pregnancy / babies”.

It’s what I’d call an easy listen - something to have playing in the background while doing something else because there’s not a lot going on in the story too lose track of.

📌 Where does it fall on my personal scale? 5
• 1 not my thing • 2 didn't like the narration • 3 didn't keep my attention • 4 was good, but once was enough [3⭐] • 5 enjoyed it [4⭐] • 6 will listen again if i'm in the mood for the narrator • 7 goes on the "re-listen" list • 8 kept me up past bed-time • 9 recommended to family/friends • 10 own it in all formats [5⭐] • 11 keep a copy with me at all times [5⭐]

LOVED LOVED LOVED!

I have read this series and when it can out on audio I was so freakin' excited!! I was soon not disappointed. Kenneth Obi does an awesome narration and the characters all have distinctive voices and don't smoosh together. A++ in my book for that!!
The story itself is sooo good!! warlocks and bear shifters and babies... what more could you want?? I'm very much looking forward to book #3!!!
