Publisher's summary

He swore he’d never date another artist, but what about the one who got away?

Alpha Luke Carter is a successful lawyer, but after his last serious boyfriend left him on their anniversary, he’s turned into a workaholic.

Omega Jay Collins is a struggling artist. Barely making ends meet, he’s recently become homeless… just as he lands the gallery show of a lifetime.

When they run into each other at an art show, sparks fly. Luke knows better, but he just can’t stop thinking about getting the sexy omega back into his bed. A night of celebratory passion leads to unexpected consequences....

In this 77,000-word omegaverse/gay paranormal romance, two men get their second chance at love and learn the value of family. Deeply descriptive and sexual scenes make this non-shifter alpha/omega male pregnancy romance suitable for adults only.

Doe stage story justice

I loved this story when I read it when it first came out. This audio book is very well done. The narrative is smooth and there is no stilted reading that you get with some audiobooks. This made me remember how much I love the story and the series. I can’t wait to revisit this world.

Awesome!

Of course I knew as long as I liked the narrater that it would be great because the book was. I really like to listen to Alexs Esquire voice as he reads different characters. Can’t wait for more!

Story nice but awful performance with not so nice writing style.

He said, he said, he said, say, said, say.
That part of the writing was terrible. And it was more noticeable due to the narrator who like to highlighted in his robot voice. There was no change of voices, and it was hard to know who was speaking, unless it was Nikolai. The story was a nice omegaverse. And I chose it because it was an AO story. And because I wanted a change from listening to Joel Leslie. I do not know if Joel Leslie spoiled me. But the narrator was terrible. He needs more practice.

Audio book Newbie

I previously read this book and the Bates brothers are on my list to buy and read as soon as new releases come out. So I knew the story and love this whole series but the audiobook , for me was only an okay experience. I am an English major so when people are reading something and pause in the wrong place, or not at all I notice. I will try another audio book because, as I said I love these brothers. Also, I should note that I received a free copy to review. 😊

Heartwarming

This book is so good. So down to earth and heartwarming. Couldn't put it down. Love all the twists and turns, so today real life. The brotherhood of all the friends being there even when family isn't, touched my heart. Will listen to more from Aiden and Austin Bates

The book that started my mpreg obsession!

To start I have to say that Trust Fund Baby was the very first mpreg book I’d ever read. This book and these wonderful authors are what started my mpreg obsession. Not only are the two MCs ( Luke and Jay) personalities so thoroughly done, but all the secondary characters are so vivid in their own right. Truly you can’t help but love them all. As an audio book I will admit that I had a hard time at first listening to Aleks Esquire’s performance. I find when you read a book first you’ve got voices in your head. Well Aleks’ performance had to win me over and by the time I was a quarter of the way through he had. I was more than willing to go along for the ride. Any author and narrator who can make me forget I’m sitting in a chemo chair deserves 5 stars because that is darn near impossible. Thank you Aiden and Austin Bates for a wonderful story and series of books, and thank you Aleks Esquire for bringing this story to life.

A definite re- listen!

I absolutely love this book. I’ve read this book multiple times now and still can’t get enough. The alpha is a bit of an idiot at times, but it doesn’t get tedious or annoying and he redeemed himself in the end.
The narrators is a great job with this book, making it come to life. He has a pleasant voice and gave the characters suiting voices.

A really good Audible Book by the Bates Brothers

At times I found all of the separate couples, cheating in-laws, crazy friends, etc. to be confusing when I first read the "E" book edition. However, after re-reading the first several chapters again and then again. I got it and had to laugh several times at the antics these people tried to play off. At time's the angst, the inside messed up people and the cheating in-laws was another story all together. I felt for poor Luke and Jay, they seemed so in tune and then so far apart. I was glad to see that they finally get their happy ever after.

However, after listening to the stunning performance of Mr. Aleks Esquire, his narration made this book into so much more! Completely changed my view of the extra's and explained the deceiving In-Laws better; it did not excuse their deceptions and cheating; but it did clear up some of the confusion I had about them originally. Over all I did enjoy this Audible Book. Look forward to listening to the next book in this series. An avid reader/listener in Rock Tavern, NY.

And Baby Makes 3!!!

Loved this book! It’s a truly funny and sweet love story between Jay a down and out artist and Luke a successful lawyer that’s recently been dumped by his artist/lover and housemate. Luke and Jay are part of a large boisterous group of college fraternity brothers. The group is all very close to each other and any number of them can be involved in some sort of mischief or helping each other with other life issues.

Luke swears he’s done with love or at least he thinks/says he is to everyone. Jay has been abandoned by his family and has been working at scrapping by with his art. When an offbeat art gallery owner decides to give Jay his own show. This show is where he reconnects with a couple of fraternity brothers of which Luke has been dragged by one of his buddies. A brief summer fling back when they were both still in college lead to Jay becoming homeless and Luke’s heart battered and bruised.

Luke and Jay’s journey to a HEA has many obstacles for these two men to work through. Love, trust, suspense, and laughter can be found in this book. The story of these two men has several twists and turns that will keep you turning the pages eager to “see” how they slowly and sweetly come together. I know that you will enjoy this story as much as I did so get your copy today.
