About this listen

After her sister snags a hot Oklahoma cowboy, Emma Hart figures it's her turn to saddle up. And with two country boys pursuing her at once, she's in for a wild ride. Lieutenant Colonel Logan Hunt can't deny the heat between him and Emma is fierce. But Logan isn't looking for anything serious - just a chance to blow off some steam. So why is he crazy jealous when he sees pro bull rider Jace Mills trying to charm Emma into bed? Logan knows he and Emma could have something special - and not just because she's smokin' hot. Now he has to find a way to prove that even a no-strings-attached guy like him can stick around for the long haul.

Contains mature themes.

Critic reviews

"Impressively fresh... [Johnson's] dialogue lilts off the tongue." ( Publishers Weekly)

Better Narrator Needed

The narrator adds a soft "a" sound to the end of many words. Very distracting.

Narration detracted from story

This was a good story-a fun easy read. But the narrators deliberate, hard pronunciation of consonants was very distracting and frankly aggravating.

Good

The narrator seemed to stumble over some words and sometimes sounded in a hurry. Overall, enjoyed it.

Sweet cowboy romance

There were a few things that I liked about this story. I got to hear about the night that Becca met Tuck from Emma’s point of view and I learned more about Emma. I would recommend reading the first book before this one to get the background on most of the characters. I’m looking forward to reading book 3.

Perfect

Love the love at first sight story lines. It was great and the way it carried over seamlessly from the first book

A teenage girl.

What do you think your next listen will be?

Would you be willing to try another one of Alice Chapman’s performances?

No

What character would you cut from Two Times as Hot?

Everyone. This was a written poorly. It's like a first easy in English 101.

Better read than a listen

I read the first book in the series and enjoyed it. The library didn't have the second one available, so I thought I would listen to it hear. Bad decision. The story was good, but the narrator was horrible. She sounded like she had something in her mouth the whole time. It was very destracting.

Good story, distracting narrator

Nice stoey but almost ruined by narraror. Nearly every word ending in '..ed' or " ..t", she added on anorher 'ed', found it very distracting. Save your credit & buy the book instead of the audio.
