About this listen

Captain Talia Culver is ready to risk her heart again after meeting Navy SEAL Wyatt Lockwood. Still recovering from injuries she received during her last mission in Afghanistan, she agrees to join Wyatt on a visit to his family's sprawling Texas ranch.

But things don't go as expected when Wyatt discovers that drug dealers are planning a job that involves crossing his family's homestead. Although she and Wyatt yearn for rest and recovery time together, they can't ignore the danger at his family's back door. Now, Wyatt must set up a dangerous operation to catch the drug dealers, or risk losing any future he and Talia might have!

In this novella you read about Talia and Wyatt going to his families ranch right after the Christmas holidays. There they meet with his family and a neighboring ranch family. They have a little bit of drama concerning drug lords and contraband. And one is wounded. But over all it is a good read. Just a side note here. This is the fourth book I have listened to in this saga and am getting bogged down with the repetition of the back story of the Delos beginnings. I don't like the repeating that has been in the last three books. But the intrigue is still there. I believe the author is doing this for word count. Not good in every book in the same series.
