Under Suspicion

The Alexander series is so fun! I love listening to the books in the series , it's like visiting an old friend.

This time Ethan gets his own story and meets Layla's cousin. Of course there is an instant attraction. And being put on her security detail is rather interesting for Ethan. I loved the introduction to Sasha's friend. She was a really fun new character. The case they are working on this time ends up being a more normal case and keeps you on your toes and guessing. This story is well written and narrated. The narration really adds to the story!

Good Listen

Ethan is keeping Sasha safe and he wants more than to protect her. Ethan and Sasha connects and he must convince her that they are doing more than working together. Great narration. This book was given to me for free at my request and I provided this voluntary review.

Mystery and Romance!

I have listened to several books by both the author and narrator and find both are so talented. I had several standout favorite characters in this book -- Ethan (hero) and Nola (side character who is so endearing). DC Cole was able to perform so many distinguishable voices for the various characters and them brings them to life. This book is a standalone listen and part of a series. I loved the twists this story had. I will definitely listen to more books in this series, and those performed by the narrator. The imagery and emotions in this book were very realistic. I also loved the banter between the characters, and how intuitive some of them were.

a nice book

first I have to say, I didn't read the previous books of this series, but I can say I didn't feel the lack of information. the book did show me parts of the story of the other characters, and made me want to read the previous book.
the book was well written, it wasn't very heavy although it was good. I couldn't feel like I'm in a constant suspense but, I did want to know what will happen next.
Ethan and Sasha are very sweet and cute.
the sarcastic parts were very nice.. and overall it's a great book.
I didn't listen 2 something of this narrator before and I have to say he was very good. I will definitely want to hear something from this narrator again.

My Favorite In The Series!

I’ve listened to every audiobook in the Alexander Ranch series. This story is the fifth in the series and centers on Jordan’s brother Ethan. For me this book is the best in this fantastic series. When Sasha and Ethan team up with the rest of the Alexander gang to solve a mystery, sparks fly between the two. Sasha is every bit the independent woman just like Jordan’s prickly girlfriend Lela, but Ethan has watched the lessons learned the hard way by his brother and he is determined to avoid the pitfalls.

I enjoyed the banter between Ethan and Sasha and I got a kick out of how Ethan approached Sasha’s independent nature and diffusing her temper.

DC Cole narrates this audiobook which is 4 ½ hours long and he’s is one of my favorites. He does a wonderful job voicing all of the characters in this audiobook.

Thrilling Mystery Romance!

What a fun, suspenseful, spin-off to Marla Josephs Alexander series! It hits the ground running and keeps you engaged from start to finish. Courageous, sassy, Sasha finds herself in the middle of a precarious investigation. She is forced to have a very sexy Ethan watching over her to keep her safe. As the case takes on more twists and turns it also becomes more dangerous. I really enjoyed watching them dance around each other and their attraction grow. The banter between Ethan and Sasha was witty and their chemistry was explosive!

DC Cole did a fabulous job with the many different characters, making it easy to recognize each one. His voice it perfect for a mystery romance and I get lost in his execution.

This interesting, clever, mystery keeps you guessing until the very end. If you like mystery romance with a light paranormal twist, you will definitely enjoy this book!

D.C. Cole makes a great series even better

I was provided this audiobook at no charge by the author, publisher and/or narrator in exchange for an unbiased review via Audiobook Boom. I've listened to the other audiobooks in the Alexander Ranch Security series, and even though the other narrators did an excellent job performing the other books, D.C. Cole has them all beat hands down. If the other books were to be redone in 3rd person and re-recorded by D.C. Cole I think the series would be a bigger success. Marla Josephs has created a very entreating supernatural world with characters that pull you in and have you invested. Marla Josephs has her Alexander Ranch Security series full of mystery and suspense that keeps you engaged till the end. I highly recommend this audiobook and series.

Wow

"I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request, via Audiobook Boom, and have voluntarily left this review."

D C. Cole made this story for me. I loved the mystery, romance and plot twists and the way Mr. Cole brought it all to life. The HEA was great and there were many areas where the humor just really made the story.
