The third installment of the Werewolves of Seattle Series.
Not your typical werewolf series.

Leaving the Blackwood Tower, having learned the truth of what happened to her, Lorainne is desperate to get back to a normal life. Away from werewolves. When she returns to her new apartment one night to find a shocking reminder of a dead and buried past, she questions her hold on reality. Struggling to hide her terror from her daughter, the only relief she finds is when Patrick unexpectedly shows up. Despite wanting her distance from his kind, she soon finds herself desperate for his company. When she learns the truth of who is behind the threatening letter, the only safe place she can think of is beside Patrick.

Blaming himself for what happened, and what could’ve, Patrick vows to protect Lorainne and her daughter. Back on his feet, he packs and moves into the same building so he can watch over them. Regardless of her wanting distance from werewolves, he won’t walk away. Having played a part in them being dragged into their world, others now knowing her scent, he won’t risk one of them finding her. When an unforeseen threat shows up in Lorainne’s life, Patrick will stop at nothing to keep them safe. Even if it means calling in a few vampires to help.

Great book! I will definitely continue the series when available.

The story was great but almost ruined by the narrator’s voice for Lorraine and the child. The other characters’ voices were great but this narrator needs to practice his female and child voices

Super suspenseful

Omg!! I am addicted to this series. Everytime I hear the ending epilogues, I want more. I quickly fell in love with Patrick. The more compassionate and protective he became with Lorainne and Aurora the more invested in him and this story I became, and I hoped for positive outcomes. Victoria and John were vile and kept me on edge. The great reckoning fight towards the end had me breathless. That ending leaves me hanging and wanting MORE!!! I voluntarily listened to a free copy of this and am giving an honest opinion. The narrator did a sensational job bringing the characters and story to life. I highly recommend this series .
